Lovely dapple-grey 7 y.o. TB broodmare by Wekiva Springs available for free lease. She has had one foal since leaving the track. Easy to breed; uncomplicated foaling, easy keeper, easy to handle, likes to be turned out, submissive with other adult mares; great baby-sitter with weanlings and yearlings. Big bodied, good mover. I took her to be a broodmare to produce eventers, but have not had the opportunity to breed her. Calm and quiet on the ground. Sound, but nervous under saddle. Would be a long-term project if you wanted to make her a riding horse.

HI! I have a 16.3h TB mare ANYTIME BABY, by Majesty’s Time out of ISR/ONA approved mare Unique Blend by Aprad (FR). She is OPEN NOW. She has had 2 foals, a TB gelding that matured 17h Is showing in the Hunters in FL & a 2009 AQHA filly that is succcessfully showing in hand. She is a great mom, quiet & easy to breed & handle. She has no soundness issues, reproductively or structurally. Excellent conformation & movement. No show record as she was never broke to ride. Her dam’s sire APHRAD is by LYPHARD (FR) who, with his son, GOOFALIK, was HANOVERIAN APPROVED & BOTH STOOD AT THE MAIN GERMAN STATE STUD AT CELLE. Both this mare’s maternal 1/2 sisters showed as hunters after racing. This mare is truly a sport horse bred TB, which is why I got her & don’t want to sell her.( I breed AQHA & Appaloosa HUNTERS) But, I can’t breed any more foals until I sell some & she is the type of mare who should be producing hunters & sport horses.

Excellent breeding, out of Roanoke and goes back to Double Jay who was a fabulous jumper sire and some other greats in TB history. Has competed over 4’ in hunters and jumpers as well as dabbled in dressage and eventing. Great movement, very feminine and correct in her build and would cross well with many different types. Want to get her bred and don’t think I will be able to make it happen this year. Free broodmare lease on or off farm with contract. Pictures and videos available.

I was going to breed her in 2011, but unforeseen family circumstances don’t permit me to do so. Come and see this beautiful mare. She would be a wonderful addition to any farm.

She has had two foals with a previous owner, one by Contucci in 2006 (reserve champion foal of inspection) and one by Rousseau in 2008. No known issues conceiving or foaling. She has been lightly shown in lower level dressage. Odette is gentle with other horses (both mares and geldings) in a turnout setting and is a very easy keeper.

SGray: Where did you find her?

I got her off the track from her PA breeder/owner/trainer to event on and breed event babies. But I’m finishing school and don’t have time to breed her or compete her myself this year. Would love to have someone breed her this spring and compete her through fall then lay her up and foal her out. She’s a fantastic mare with wonderful bloodlines. I would also happily help pay for her approval with foal at side in 2012 in any registry if that was something you needed/wanted. Hopefully someone can use her while I can’t this year!

I have a lovely 7 year old grey Welsh mare that I would like to lease out for a year or two. She’s by Elite Earl Grey and out of Adrienne’s Jewel (dam of Wellen Red Rock and Wellen Rosetta). She’s 12.1 and is an awesome, awesome mover. I am not breeding next year and feel that she should be doing something for someone.

Shenandoah Fantasia: 3 year old Section B by Farnley Triton and out of Shenandoah Silk Fan (Alra Amber Classic) 13.1 hands, bay with a stripe and a hind sock. Outstanding mover. Very correct.

The King Sisters: Sophie is a 13 year old TB mare. She is 15.3 and dark bay. She had a lovely TB filly this year, but late in the season, so we didn’t breed her back. She is also the dam of Stoneledge Adelie who was Reserve Champion Pony Filly at Devon in 2007.

This mare is registered as an Old NA premium foal (was site champion) and is approved as Premium mare in 2 registries and was a site champion in both of them, as well – OLD NA, as well as Ster predicate in KWPN-NA. Site championship there was in free-jumping and was 6th(t) in the 2006 Top Ten for free-jumping.

In 2002, she was #1 Oldenburg USDF DSHB HOY, as well as #3 USDF DSHB HOY for All Breeds. Awarded multiple Filly and Young Horse Championships, as well as a Reserve Grand Championship. This mare’s full sister won the Born USA at KHP in 2007, as well.

In 2008, she had a very athletic jumper-bred filly that was conceived first cycle on frozen. This past Dec, 2010, she had a full reproductive soundness exam and was reported with an excellent score (90% I; 10% IIA). Regular cycles – cycling now. Reproductive conformation good – no caslicks required.

My vet has a 16.1H TB mare. Black and homozygous. Does have some white socks/stockings. Let me know and I can get her info to you. No foaling issues and I think age 10.
