Is Margie Engle not showing in WEF this year?
I have not heard that she retired, but she will be 65 this year. So it would not be surprising if she retired.
Goodness I saw the title and thought it was going to be about her passing as well!

Iām sorry! Not my intention. I see sheās listed as trainer for riders that Iām presuming are her students, but I always enjoy watching her ride.
What?!?! Margie Engle is 65!?!?! Butā¦ that would make meā¦ oh crap. Sigh. Back to the āTell me youāre oldā thread with the other fossils.

hush. I trained with her when i was a junior, before she was famous, her barn was right down the street from the hunter barn where i boarded at the time.

OP just a suggestion to edit the post title to āMargie Engle and WECā, maybe with a question mark ā¦ just to keep people from having their heart jump, as those single-name threads tend to mean, well, a very sad time.
Good question though and Iāve wondered what sheās been doing lately.

My understanding is Margie had a bad fall end of ā22 broke collarbone/ shoulder and needed surgery. Sheās recovering though Iām sure not as quickly as sheād likeš Helping students at WEF but not yet showing herself.

Yes she had a bad fall in the schooling area during the MLSJ team comp here, just like MsFinch said. Glad to hear sheās at least back training already!
