Martin Black clinic.....

A group of us went and audited three days of Martin Black last weekend. He comes in May and Nov, this is our 4th clinic we have audited of his.

Again, he is a TOTAL class act and super nice guy. I havent ridden, just audited, but I get a lot out of it. They invite us to dinner w/them, so got to talk and ask lots of questions.

If anyone has a chance to go to see or ride w/Martin, DO!!

Was a good group of people. Two horses had been ridden w/a LOT of contact. They were nervous and could not stand still. Martin had the people LOOSEN up on them. Put one in a Hackamore, the other just drop the reins whenever he could. THOSE two horses changed over the three days. I think the people GOT it and will continue, so those horses’ lives changed. Was fun to see, cuz I have a feeling the constant pressure was something the horses had for a LONG time.

We will do it all again in May. Was a very fun weekend.

Glad you enjoyed the clinic, we hope to have many more. Martin is a great horseman and and a great person. We like that he spends so much time with the participants.

Putting on the clinic is a lot of work, but the changes in horses and humans makes it all worthwhile.

What Martin teaches spans all disciplines, good horsemanship is good horsemanship.
