She’s a model. Her sister Gigi is BFF with Taylor Swift and in her “squad” lol. I have a feeling the article may have twisted her words because I don’t think she’s dumb enough to claim she’s a international champion or whatever the article said. As far as I know she doesn’t even show though I know she used to – though I forget with whom. Alas, she had to give up on her Olympic dreams because of her lyme disease so says her mother’s blog (who is on housewives of beverly hills).

A thirsty move on behalf of the magazine who shared the photo of her. I suppose this is what you do when people become no longer interested in reading or looking at what it is you have to provide for your subscribers. Mary Kate is a fantastic rider. Horse Style magazine saw an opportunity with a photo that they knew would cause conversation and went for it. Disrespectful if you ask me, however from what I hear this is to be expected from said magazine.

Both ladies look like they are competent riders who have been well trained and are well mounted. I cannot see anything to fault either of them for, unless it is to say that they are not as good as Tory Colvin — but then again, no one is.

Like everyone who shows at the top shows, it looks like they are doing what they enjoy and, fortunately, have enough money to do it. That makes them no different than anyone else at the talent Search or at WEF.

I can relate. I’ve always been the quiet type and lots of people thought I was either rude, or a snob. And with MKO, add on the tags “celebrity” and “rich” and some people feel they have the right to harshly critique her. I guess it’s jealousy. Just leave the woman alone if you don’t like her, but don’t be mean. There are too many mean people.

I know this is a total zombie thread from years ago, but does anyone know if she’s still riding/competing? I was very excited to see those videos/photos a bunch of years ago, growing up with Full House and classic Olsen twins movies but haven’t seen anything since then. She certainly outrides me, zero critique from this corner. Maybe she shows under another name?
