Thank you, Lexus! What a horse. I’m sad it ended like this though. I was in cross country control when he won AECs at the Colorado Horse Park and saw him win Kentucky. What a journey!

Tough day all around but from a spectators standpoint this is bad. It` looks like only one third of the entries will complete XC. Fair hill is a three hour drive for us and we thought about going but thankfully didn’t.
There needs to be a really hard think about why there are so few entries. If you were a spectator, you got to see very little. A score of 109 is going to be top ten.
A guess if you have tickets for stadium it will be exciting with three riders only a rail apart. The only three riders that even have a chance.

There are 6 flag penalties that can be removed, which will probably change up the scoreboard just a little bit.
Jennie - 1 (could be a 37.3 - 4th)
Buck - 2 (could be a 39.2 - 5th)
Lilian - 3 (could be a 64.4)
Just to point out it maybe a little closer on Sunday once those gets cleared up. I’m not sure if any will be removed, but there is a chance.
That was so exciting to watch, that’s what XC is all about!

But is it a 5* event that also has a 3*, or is is 3* event that happens to have a small 5* attached to it.

I don’t know if itt was mentioned above but it was super hot today. I struggled and I’m actually sitting in my car waiting on my friends. I can’t imagine what it was like galloping up that hill.
I’ve gone too all 4 years this year was a rough one. I didn’t think the course looked overly hard but that uphill climb in this weather maybe? I don’t know I think I got to see 4 horses at the upper water complex before the heat got three better of me. Really enjoyed walking three course for the 3*
