Who here has one and wants to share feedback about the process, usefulness, etc?
I used to have one. It is useful because you cannot legally teach in the state without one. As for the test itself, I found it a bit random. For example, there was a question asking how many MPH the canter was. I can assure you I have no idea and I have been riding for most of my life. I never have needed to know this. The 6 months required teaching under someone else with a license is as useful as the person you are teaching under and if they actually give you feedback on your instruction. There are man very good programs that will certify you to teach that will provide you with real skills, this program isn’t that. But, as I said a the beginning, if you want to legally teaching the state you need to have it.
