I was so saddened to learn this. He contributed a lot to the horse community and was very successful. He struggled with his mental health. He is survived by a family who will miss him sorely. My deepest condolences to all who knew him.

It is indeed very sad to see such an advocate for the discussion of mental health issues, with which he tried to help others cope, succumb to the difficulties he knew so well.
So heartbreaking. May he rest peacefully.
