It seems as though Mavis Spencer, aka Golden Groom of the AAA circuit, is no longer with the stable she helped found: Oakland Ventures. She is now overseas working for Neil Jones Equestrian (NJE), with whom she previously worked for before Kent Farrington.
Why the switch? Is she going to return to Oakland? What happened!
Not sure why the switch other than it was probably a better opportunity for her. She was saying that she’s going to start riding/showing again, too.
Just like any other job, you know? Sometimes you find one that you stay in a long time, sometimes you just keep moving on and (hopefully) moving up.
I do believe she left Oakland amicably, but I could be mistaken.
