Sdel: hut-ho78:They did not seek any footage from the cloud later though.
You are wrong there too.
?
One officer testified that they did not attempt to preserve the video evidence and then another one testified that when they attempted to access the cloud, months later, everything was gone. They held up the cameras and talked about it. So, you are incorrect that they didnât seek footage from the cloud.
Michaelâs phone was the google phone on the table.
The nice health department person said that the house was a two family residence, main floor and 2nd floor. The fire department inspector said they checked to make sure no one was living in the basement. MHG said there were separate outside entrances to the 1st and 2nd floors and they all shared a common area. That fits with the drawing, stairs up the outside of the house to the second floor.
You are wrong but it is fine if you want to go with that. There are stairs to the outside from the basement. They show on that drawing. But, it is fine if you want to insist you know something different. We can all just weigh the accuracy of everything else you say knowing that you are refusing to admit that you are wrong in this case.
It looks to me like he fired 2 rounds at LK from the bush area (of which they found one), moved towards RG at the house and fired the third (which they found). Glad you posted this.
Wow. Just as accurate as the stairs thing.
You do remember that they found Michael NG on all the charges against Robert Guy Goodwin/Jim E Stark/Superman, right?
And the lesser included charge only required them to find that Michael pointed a gun at RGG/JES/Superman and that too was NG.
You do get points for your creativity.
I agree that the language used to describe her injuries is dramatic, and I agree that certain posters
are using specific language in an apparent effort to incite an emotional response. But I think itâs a bad look to try and minimize her injuries.
I was in no way trying to minimize her injuries!
Not even close to that.
I think we can all agree her injuries were pretty darn nasty.
I was simply rebutting the constant line of incorrect information about them and following the direction of @hut-ho78 who insisted I should listen to the thoracic surgeonâs testimony.
We can all agree she had serious injuries while being honest about what they were, how long she was in the hospital, how long she was on the ventilator, if she took a helicopter ride, etc.
I thought it came up in the testimony at the trial that all three phones were piled on the table together. Which seemed like an odd detail
It would not shock me if the phones were stacked on the table by LE and they just never explained that was not where the phones were actually found.
Thank you @jvanrens. I thought I remembered that the basement had two forms of egress too. Thank you for confirming that and telling us where it can be confirmed.
Clearly Hut is not remembering that correctly. You are not understanding building codes about basement bedroom emergency egress. Here is information on New Jersey basement egress codes.
https://www.thegreategressco.com/pages/new-jersey-egress-requirements
Laugh.
Oh, I totally understand building codes. Good try thoughâŠgood tryâŠ
None of this negates the fact that one poster is insisting there are not outside stairs when there are outside stairs.
It would not shock me if the phones were stacked on the table by LE and they just never explained that was not where the phones were actually found.
This would be yet another great example of their ever so amazing police work.
Thatâs a very small porch for all that drama and wrestling. Doesnât seem plausible
It looks so small, Iâm not sure but didnât LK say she was on the porch, on a loveseat or something, reading when MB pulled up?

This is what I remember was one of the first stories told about what happened. Yes. She was reading on the couch on the porch.
That umbrella would block part of the view I would think. I have heard that shooting through glass can do all kinds of weird things to the path of a bullet. I am thinking shots were fired during a struggle on the ground by the truck.
Where IS the (per this pic itâs red) umbrella in the diagram?
Not the base, the actual umbrella?

When the pictures of the âporchâ first appeared, I thought: What porch? The landing at the top of the stairs??
And didnât LK say she had been sitting on a sofa reading on the porch? Where is there any furniture on that landing? And what would even fit there?
They should have included it in the drawing I would think. It looks like it could be about 4-5â wide.
Look at just how narrow that porch is. And keep in mind, there was a loveseat crammed up on it too
Right, what happened to the loveseat she was reading her book on?
hut-ho78: RHdobes563:Three years is a long time to be able to âclean upâ your work record. There could have been a minor hand-slapping for the way the investigation was handled. Maybe those two delivered babies on a highway, participated in âshop with copsâ events, organized money-raising endeavors for permanently injured officers.
There are a LOT of things that could be taken into account when a promotion is given. Just like, if you read the originally posted link to the disciplinary report, there are LOTS OF REASONS why police officers can be suspended or terminated from their jobs (like ânot being a resident of New Jersey, as requiredâ).
First you wanted the 2019 report. I found one. Then you said it didnât give the information you needed which was to see if any of the officers were written up, reprimanded, disciplined for their role in the shooting. However, the report provided stated no discipline activity was reported for Morris County as well as a lot of other counties.
You arenât looking for information unless itâs helps your fake story that LE did a bad job. You are only quibbling with me because you donât like the facts.
Wow. You donât know how OFFENDED I am by your âyour fake storyâ and âbecause you donât like the facts.â REALLY offended.
No, I am just incredibly nosey, being a retired municipal worker. As I have stated many times before, I like to watch forensic shows (Iâm watching one right now), and I have gotten used to the âsupposed investigative proceduresâ that these shows are always portraying.
I was thinking that because of the âkerfuffleâ that must have happened after the shooting, that some disciplinary action, maybe even if just âverbalâ, or reinforcement of proper investigative technique. Afterall, Michael Barisone was not just your average landlord with a tenant problem. There were eyes on this from much further away than just New Jersey, and Iâm sure the local LEO were not expecting it. There was a big magnifying glass aimed on them, Iâm sure, after everything.
As a former municipal worker, IF someone requested to speak to a supervisor, a supervisor was ALWAYS found. Sometimes not the one they asked for (âI want to speak to a WATER department supervisor right now!â), but we (the clerical staff) could find ANOTHER supervisor with enough knowledge to be able to handle the questions/situations. We never EVER shrugged off a citizenâs request to speak to someone more important that we were, although many times a supervisor told a citizen the exact same things we had just told that citizen.
Do you know that OUR police clerks can lose their jobs if they make a mistake when doing reports? They are not police officers but do handle complaints from people who âwalk in.â LOSE their jobs. Over, possibility, a small mistake. Itâs why the not-testing-for-GSR after the shooting, taking RGâs word who âwas the shooterâ, disregarding MBâs earlier request to speak to a supervisor, etc. just totally got to me.
I betcha the LEO of Morris Township are probably decent guys, but their casual response to MBâs calls and requests for help wasnât professional. Iâm sure that they didnât expect the events of August 7th to happen, but thatâs not really an excuse.
Although, I only vaguely knew of Michael Barisone through Stephen Colbert, the âequestrianâ background instantly drew me to find out âwhat happened.â I havenât been this curious (and incredulous) about an âathleticâ incident since Spider Sabich.
When I was much, MUCH younger, I used to write. At one time, I was writing an anthology of stories about women. Each of them was based on a personal trait or aspect of mine. I was trying to describe these different womenâs characteristics to my cousin and stated that one, Thorn, was more âall of me.â Off the cuff I said to my cousin, âALL that I am is Thorn. Thorn speaks for JUSTICE, and I SPEAK for Thorn.â
Thatâs what I want. Justice.
Edited: to fix grammar, to be more concise, and to add the three new sentences in the beginning. The original is quoted below, if interested.
To be fair, it wasnât Morris Township that showed up. It would have been Washington Township Police Department as they serve Long Valley, NJ and Morris County Sheriffâs serves the county. Morris Township is its own municipality.
I would have thought there would be pictures from all different angles unless we didnât get to see them all.

I believe it is where I drew this not very round circle.
when they attempted to access the cloud, months later, everything was gone.
If they had actually just shut the camera off to stop the beeping, where is that footage that they did get, but then it was turned off?
Wouldnât it at least show CPS driving by?

Yes, he sued Washington Township, Morris County
Barbie sized, maybe?
