Ironically, if LK would have left, had she not played Night Of The Living Ninja, had she not been engaging in a campaign of terror and harassment, there would have been no risk.

What I consider even worse is that when IM lied about names being known it was done with the intent of alarming posters as if to warn them off of making additional posts contrary to the LK narrative. His lies had MOTIVE.

And again IM was only going by the LK narrative. He only had her version(s) of events and he was not even in the States at the time.

I don’t feel @Moderator_1 should need to address this again. In the 2 1/2 years since the above IM post, and after KM made public the threats she received from LK via p.m., I distinctly remember Mod_1 posting that they had received a few specific subpoenas, none of which concerned unaffiliated frequent contributors to the threads. (My memory is that they were all for family members.)

• What I said is that I find IM very credible and have relied on his posts to understand the tragedy. On his statement that MB never asked LK to leave, I think that that may be true, given that MB was acting irrationally. I have no way of knowing for a fact that MB never asked them to leave, but it definitely seems possible to me.
• As evidence of IM supposedly lying, there were two screenshots. In one, IM said something like ‘Clearly I have no inside information.” Since the preceding sentences could only have been made based on inside information, the disavowal was clearly said sarcastically. It was not a lie. On the other hand, posters who dishonestly pretended that they did not see the sarcasm so that they could call it a lie, were the dishonest ones.
• The other statement made by IM was that USEF knew the identities of “all” the discussion participants. I don’t believe that statement to be true. I think it is an exaggeration or a bluff.
• Despite interpreting that particular statement to be an exaggeration, bluff, or untruth, I generally still view IM as very credible.
• You are perfectly within your rights to view me as having “weakened credibility”.

Sarcasm, particularly in it’s written form on a public forum is tough to translate. Normally we can glean enough from a poster’s style and tone from previous posts to get a feel if they are being tongue-in-cheek or sarcastic. IMO, IM rarely used humor or sarcasm, so I (and many others) did not interpret his post below as such. That does not mean that we are lieing or dishonest, we just didn’t interpret his writing as being sarcastic in tone.

I’ll also point out an additional lies where IM refers to Michael as a “felon” and that “USEF has possibly gone directly to SafeSport to report individuals for embarrassing the sport.” Embarrassing the sport?? really? Pretty sure that SS does not have a category for that

Agreed. As far as the bolded comment from CH goes - no, I did not “dishonestly pretend” (what a fancy and dismissive way of accusing someone of lying) anything… and thus I am not dishonest. Nor is anyone else who saw through the IM charade.

IM lied a lot. He assumed that no one here was smart enough to start to see through his puffery and bragadoccio… and pretty much figure out who he was - despite his constant claims of no connections to LK. He feigned being an innocent observer - and then would contradict what he had just claimed. And yet for some reason, some posters here believed every word he said and held him up as a paragon of truth and virtue - and continue to do so. /s

ETA: If MB did not ask LK to leave as CH constantly maintains… then why were JK & Co. trying to find somewhere for her to move? Why was LK moaning and whining all over FB in the weeks before the shooting that she had to move her horses ASAP? All of that is conveniently ignored if IM summarily declares something to be true - which at this point, based on his credibility and past performances, is as good as saying it is complete nonsense and an attempt to squirrel.

But the USEF subpoena would be issued to CotH, not to you, wouldn’t it? Just like the MB subpoena to CotH concerning @hut-ho78 that @Sdel was wondering about.

I’m going by the report to SS made by LK where a box for physical and/or sexual child abuse was clearly checked. There is no way you can twist that, try as you might.

Why you wish to justify that, I’ll never know.

I saw the form. The question asked whether there were concerns or allegations of abuse or sexual abuse.

I think what is so interesting about this is that LK clearly (and admittedly) had no idea what SS was for.

She contacted SS to ‘report’ MB for alleged bullying and body shaming, SS told her that they can only take action if the situation involved minors. That is when LK decided to weaponize SS and mention MHG’s children. It has NOTHING to do with her actual complaint against MB, she was so ignorant that she called a complaint to an organization that unless she lied and twisted her complaint could not aid her in her campaign of destruction.

Here is why I do not read IM’s statement as sarcasm: he starts his diatribe with it’s his “theory” and goes on to say that this is possible, or possibly that happened. He did not start it as fact, so therefore it did not require inside information. It was supposedly speculation.

If that is how one reads it, then the following sentence, “Of course, I have no inside information” can be read as a disclaimer. In other words, I am just making stuff up because I know nothing.

I think we all knew he was fabricating subpoenas and investigation by SS and/or USEF because the logic was so outrageous. It sounded like it just came out of Lauren’s head.

BTW, many folks who post here are not members of the governing bodies and to pursue someone for denigrating the sport is just silly. There are certainly no legal teeth behind that statement.
