Agree 100%. He clearly said they became friends when they got to know each other through lessons and shows, as there are few men involved in dressage compared to women. Definitely nothing close to bragging involved, just a statement of fact that women outnumber men by a large percentage. Like when I’ve gone to construction job showings, it’s often a relief to see another woman or maybe two in the group, because it’s like walking into an old boys club sometimes!

Does it somehow support the narrative that there was a love triangle between him, LK and MHG?

Does it change the fact that the Kanareks engaged in a concerted plan to ruin him? Or that LK refused to leave? Or that everyone around MB became concerned about his deteriorating emotional/mental state?

Does it change the poor forensics?

Ok @Sdel and @McGurk and @trubandloki I listened to it again and I can see why y’all think it is just a comment on why they are friends. He was asked specifically about his friendship as well. I still see how I was struck with my interpretation.

And I have been the only one of me in several situations involving various categories, so much so, I usually tend to forget unless I am reminded by someone else observing or noticing.

Because some here constantly need to demonize MB. It’s how they combat all the criticisms of LKs abhorrent behavior. It’s how they excuse it. Just like as was said by IM and LK about MB partnering with MHG. It’s how they push the narrative that it wasn’t LK who drove him mad but life stressors associated with Vera, MHG etc.

No subpoenas necessary to have figured it out. Only a few of LK’s friends match the level of nastiness and obtuseness of a few posters here. Got a time stamp? Because I watched his testimony today too, and I didn’t hear anything like that. Mr Tarshis starts at approx 2:21:20

I also listened. The topics that mention women are:

1. Tarshis explaining that his regular instructor (a woman) is who introduced him to Michael because Michael was her instructor.
2. How it was somewhat unusual to be a male in a woman dominated sport (cites a stat of 90% of USDF riders are women)

Another interesting thing…when Deininger started questioning Tarshis, he used the dates June 2019. So MB first contacted Tarshis about LK in June.

That’s my point, @Sdel. IM could believe that USEF thought they knew the identities of the main posters on CotH without having served subpoenas, just as you think you know IMs identity and my identity without having confirmation from CotH via subpoena.
