Ar least no one here has ever said, " Finish the B!tch"!!! Imagine that. Could it be LK really isn’t the most important person in this situation as some have preached, but Michael Barisone IS? Of course she and her actions, behavior and lies are discussed, but it is what SHE did to Michael and continues to do that remains front and center and always will. When I say, “she”, of course I am including her two male co-conspirators as well. (Yes, I believe there are three involved in the [edit] the bastard plan, perhaps more.)
Since I do not belong to a country club, and I am not a lawyer, and I have not ignored a subpoena and I do not have any contempt filings against me, and I have never sent a letter to a judge, I have to wonder…
How does Jonathan Kanarek and Kirby Kanarek explain to the people at their country club how a lawyer and his wife ignored a subpoena which lead to contempt filings and Jonathan thinking it is OK to send a private letter to the judge?
It seems like that type of information would find its way to their friends at the country club and someone will ask.
And where do you think KK got her erroneous information from? I don’t get the sense that she follows the international dressage scene very closely, so the stories about failed drug tests and broken horse jaws at Olympics attended by MB most likely came from one particular source. I do not doubt one bit that it was intentionally phrased to her in a way that made her assume MB was responsible for both incidents, but I also do not doubt that the source would deny it and instead throw dear KK under the bus by claiming, “Oh, Momsie got it wrong - I guess she didn’t hear me clearly.”
The idea that MB, on the US team could do anything with a horse from a competing team is ridiculous and shows how much the poseurs know about any of this.
I used to be an assistant to an executive (biotech company) with a PhD. I answered the phone, “Dr. Ferguson’s office…” Once, when one of the MDs was calling, he scoffed at me using “Doctor.” He said, “I’m an actual doctor, he’s just a research guy!”
Who refuses to comply with a subpoena?
Katharine Graham, owner of the Washington Post, refused to comply with a subpoena in a civil suit from the Richard Nixon re-election committe demanding reporters notes on Watergate so they could identify confidential sources.
In this case she would be standing on constitutional arguments about freedom of the press. It’s common enough for reputable newspapers to take this stand.
Not the same as just ignoring a subpoena in a case you are involved in launching.
