Sdel is saying that they had some notifications of where you (or someone else maybe) tagged them when they had you on ignore, but since the mods had to clean up so many of your posts last night, those notifications went away when the posts went away.
While you were on ignore. I put you on ignore on the 14th, for a week. I know the ignore was functioning because all the posts were still hidden. I posted a screenshot of it at the time. Mod 1 removed it for some reason.
ETA: furthermore, the tag directs me to a post doesn’t actually feature me in the conversation because you were on ignore. It was between Lex and you. Also, I have no other notifications from you, even though I do believe you quoted/responded to me quite a bit during that time frame.
I have to say, this whole Lauren Kanarek thing has taught me that there are far more people who think blatantly telling lies, just to get their way or win a discussion, than I ever imagined were out there in the world. I wrongly thought that most people actually wanted to be honest and truthful, and people like Lauren Kanarek were an anomaly, the type that most people tried hard to avoid having to deal with.
Around here, where in the winter the barn is basically a big metal freezer, it does not take single digits to mess pipes up. I drain the overhead pipes in the barn every evening and do not use the faucets in the stalls as a source of water in cold snaps. Even if the water is turned off condensation can build up in the pipes and cause trouble - ask me how I know - hence the constant attention to draining. I keep a hose drizzling over the drain in the wash rack - and that is how I do buckets. In the laundry room/washroom, I keep the tap over the sink drizzling a tiny bit. I keep that small room sealed off as best I can - the daylight sun will warm it up a bit IF it is sunny. I drizzle the kitchen faucet in my barn apartment as well, as those pipes run along the arena wall… with very poor insulation.
I manage to keep things going 97% of the time. I cannot imagine an insurance company paying up if they thought there was any kind of negligence.
Re ignore: I have 2 posters on ignore. I do not see their posts. I do not receive notifications from them, but I also don’t know that they’re tagging, replying, or quoting my posts, since they’re on ignore. I’ve had no issue ignoring these 2 posters and my experience on this forum has been much better with them on ignore. So I’d say it works decently enough for me.
It takes a lottt for me to put someone on ignore, but sometimes you just have to
This topic has made it clear that there is more than one example in just this situation. Maybe not as bad as Lauren, but certainly people who state lies just to rile people up and get their own way.
I have no doubts that as soon as something is posted on the court’s website that @ekat will tell us about it.
The bolded part ^. Ignore issues aside, it is a way to draw attention to your (g) post. Or at least, that is why YD would tag multiple posters in her posts over and over again. And then complained that those who were tagged were responding to her for some reason…
It is just the old Do As I Say And Not As I Do Thing. #shrug
Maybe, but it is a known quantum mechanical function of time that it slows down when you are waiting for something to happen. And the reverse is true as well, it speeds up when you aren’t paying attention.
I’m kind of surprised people didn’t realize that people like LK exist.
At first thought maybe it’s because I had the type of job I had so I’ve seen stuff. But that’s not it. I’ve seen stuff in the horse world and have been exposed to some amazingly evil or crazy people.
Oh, I knew crazy horse people existed and I knew evil people existed. I guess I never realized how many evil and crazy people existed. Add that, for example, Lauren says on the stand that of course she lies on social media to get her way, like isn’t that how everyone does it? I mean… so weird to me.
And then to see people here doing the same thing. Just…overboard.
