If you (g) have someone blocked on every single social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, IG, TikToc, etc)and have had that individual blocked for years, how would one take screen shots from the blocked account to post anywhere? Asking for a friend.

LOL. You are more than welcome to put me on ignore. It would make my life more pleasant.

I have 5 people on ignore, so I think I’m doing my share of ignoring.

With all due respect, you claim to not follow Lk on sm, so where would you have seen these posts?

Oh, no, FitzE, it’s impossible to demand respect. It can only be granted freely. I have a lot of respect for you, BTW, despite our differences of opinion.

If I was someone who could not tolerate disrespect, I would have been long gone.

Wasn’t that addressed in Mr Silver’s response? You know, where he said they tried arbitration and, “it didn’t go well”?

Maybe I have my responses mixed up :woman_shrugging:t2:.

It was a mediation, not arbitration. Somewhat different procedures and different outcomes. A mediation is not binding.

And I am just going to put this here, then I will stop: there is a BIG difference in being threatened by an individual that they are going to take your house and farm, and discussing how someone ELSE might satisfy a judgment…

She may still owe hard costs, just not the attorneys fees.

Come on you guys. You don’t really think LK wanted the NJ farm for herself? As in she would remain there and manage it? :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Maybe to sell it and all it’s contents (antique cars, barn equipment, haying equipment, etc), but staying there?

Maybe she thought she could talk JH, MM and the working students, farriers, vets, Mr Davidson [the hay guy] etal to stick around? :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Thank you!

(Maybe I should start paying my tuition)

I see your answer. Thank you for the clarification, but if I may say so, you put yourself at a distinct disadvantage relying on others to provide you that info, especially as these threads have been going on for quite a few years now.

I have an extremely limited sm presence, and because of that I’m reluctant to post definitively about posts on those platforms.

LK threatened to sue KM for defamation for what she posted on COTH, even after being informed by LK that what KM was posting was not true. If LK had actually filed a defamation suit (unlikely) snd won (unlikely) and revived a big monetary judgement (unlikely), it is perfectly within the legal system to request a court put liens on KMs assets. Correct?

I think LK was simply blustering to try to get KM to stop repeating the statements that LK considered defamatory. But KM never retracted the statement. She only ever continued to double down.

Tell me how LK “threatening” to use the court system to place a lien on KMs property to satisfy some hypothetical court judgement is nasty and evil, while SGF garnishing trust fund payments and placing a lien on a hypothetical future GP horse of LKs is the normal working of the court system.

Yes, I think she had it in her head that she would own the farm and MB would be her private manager/trainer.

It is the only way you can logically make the idea that Jay-T would have free board for life work. Remember, she was talking about forging signature and contracts and all that stuff about LK being his money savior and paying all his bills.

Now, would it have held up? Probably not, but it doesn’t seem like a lot has gone according to plan.

Lk threatened to start ab lawsuit because some random person said a thing she didn’t like. Lk started a lawsuit (for legit reasons) against sfg. So these two things aren’t really similar, though they both involve Lk and legal stuff.

It has become my presumption that if there’s a SM post of LKs that makes her look bad and evil, there is a very high probability it will be reposted here on COTH.

Also, if LK had made such a claim, I would have expected her to post it here on the Barisone threads.

This was my initial reaction. I just see her as someone who far prefers being a boarder, vs taking on the responsibility and work involved in owning and running a farm.

But… I wonder about JKs role in terms of looking at this as some sort of long term financial strategy. Maybe JK just looked at the farm in terms of the real estate value, and planned on selling it after taking it as part of a settlement. Or… Maybe he looked at obtaining a farm via litigation as a way of reducing the long term expenses involved in his daughter’s increasingly expensive dressage hobby because…

  1. All of her horses could be kept on said farm without paying boarding fees

  2. A well qualified professional could potentially operate their dressage business out of the farm, potentially in exchange for providing free services to LK, caring for her horses, and maintaining the property.

In both instances, the issue is using the court system to satisfy a hypothetical court ordered judgement.

It’s a nasty, evil, threat if she’s the one (hypothetically) using the court system, but not when SGF or MB are (hypothetically) using the court system.

That’s just crazy talk :flushed::joy::wink:!

JK has no inkling of an idea how much it costs to have/keep horses at this level!
