Indeed. The aforementioned section of her Pinterest board that contained numerous pins about planning acts of violence, multiple personalities, etc., would have been relevant to the criminal trial against Barisone and the civil suit that Lauren filed, so it is of great interest to Barisone and the owners of Sweetgrass. Unfortunately, it is gone entirely, due to Lauren deleting it, so there are only cached fragments in search engines, mostly from her final additions, the section that ties into her claim of Barisone attempting to kill her.
They can petition the judge to unseal her juvie records, though I suspect there isn’t much there. I believe the real fun begins with her adult medical records, beginning from when she crashed her new car into a tree. That seems to be when the opiate addiction began, when she was given painkillers for her injury, and then it spiraled out of control when she soon after attended Hollins for college.
Okay, I have to add this one to the pot. Photo is kinda small, but it’s a handmade, Ninjas vs. Pirates. Just imagine it as Milady Ninja vs. Dread Pirate Roberts.
There was mention on an earlier thread of an incident during high school for which she was “infamous” for (per those earlier posts which the mods removed so I won’t repeat it here), but I suspect it would not have been reported to the police, no matter how heinous. It was, however, the type of incident that speaks to an individual’s mental health. Perhaps the lawyers have interviewed (or should interview!) some high school classmates?
Juvie records - if there was anything of note there - would show an established pattern of conduct from earlier on in life and would be of great use in proving both her parent’s liability and her own, but the adult records should be sufficient, because she went off the rails at the beginning of her adulthood and never recovered. One thing that Barisone and Sweetgrass should do is put her Papa on the stand and ask him about her early adult years, the home burglary where his wife’s jewelry was stolen yet the rest of the valuables were ignored, and whatever else they can think of.
That may have been Lauren just stirring the pot by posting things to make her sound dangerous/intimidating, like the addition of “crazy” pins on her Pinterest board and the L&C Network chatter about her taking people’s jobs away and having them blacklisted in the industry. By all public-facing accounts, she was a good little girl, just like her younger sisters were, but who knows what really went on in that family during their childhoods.
