The pacing season in VA just ended. The hunts will start trail ride in the next couple of weeks.
Sunrise Stables does a pace in June. They are outside of Lexington, VA. You can look at the vahorsetrials website for more info. :)

I went to Allerton today for the 4th of July pchase – had a great time. Nice, long course and very nice jumps. Can’t wait to see the pictures. 
I was there as a spectator, took some pictures. That was FUN! and so nice and cool with the light rain. Everyone had a good time. Nice job Josie and Betsy!

Yes, we thought the misting rain in the a.m. was actually nice – helped us stay cool.
I thought they did a great job as well. Everyone at the checkpoints was really friendly and helpful, and the free hot dogs and drinks at the end were so nice.

The photographer did a really nice job. I didn’t even see her at the end of the pace… but she caught us (I’m in the Dartmoor pony contingent). I’m still having flashbacks to that giant hill… we whooped and laughed all the way up!
