Thanks for the pointer to the Road ID app–I may be the only person in the world who vastly prefers the armband to anything on my wrist, but the app is really interesting and (unless I just haven’t hit the “pay $5 to actually use it” screen yet) free to get and use, too.
I have the RoadID wristband. I wear it all the time since I travel for work. It has some medical information on it and my husband’s cell number. I figure my phone can get separated from me but it is unlikely for the bracelet to come off.
I use the RoadID app too. I love the tracking portion and when I ride by myself I like the added security. It is free so you won’t get to teh “pay $5 to actually use it” screen.
