The Derby DQ is much more meaningful–both to Baffert and to racing–than the number of days.

Just to add the information, Medina Spirit died on Dec. 6, 2021 at Santa Anita after a workout. A necropsy was determined to be inconclusive as to cause of death.

Not a racing insider, don’t follow it closely. But have heard reams of negatives on Baffert.
Has Baffert finally suffered the consequences of his wrongs? Or, not?
Isn’t he retiring? Maybe sort of? I heard that he had sold out many of his own horses and interests in horses.
