Mens WINTER breeches in white?

Anyone out there know where I can source Mens breeches in winterweight fabric that come in white?

We have beige Winter Breeches for informal days which are hard enough to find, but I can’t find him white ones for the majority of our hunt days. He loves Pikeur but is fine with ovation, Horze, or whatever. We just need white ones that will keep him more comfortable on those cold mornings.
Note, he’s a larger rider, so looking for something that comes in 40 or 42 (American sizing)

thanks!

He’ll probably have better luck shopping overseas.

Fair Play Men’s Winter Breeches

I’m pretty certain Mark Todd makes a winter competition breech as well

I bought most all of my white breeches for hunting on ebay, once I figured out the right size Tailored Sportsman Royal Hunter. Accumulated quite a collection, about half are brand new with tags. In winter I wear silk or other thin thermal long underwear underneath.

Realistically only leg from knee up to the bottom of the coat is directly exposed to the weather .

Men’s breeches fit a lot looser, so it’s easy to wear something under them. Hubby wears Under Armour as a base layer when it’s cold. Likewise, he has a pair of boots for winter big enough to fit wool socks, etc rather than trying to find men’s winter boots with brown tops.

I have big legs and can fit fleece leggings under all my summer breeches, barring the mega compression pairs. I’d suggest he go that route.

I put the leggings on, then the breeches kind of like panty hose - bunch them up and get my foot through. Pull the fleece leggings down so I can step on the heel part, then pull the breeches up.

I also wear under armour under my britches for cold weather. UA is very light weight and warm.

But why would you ever want to wear white britches?

Gotta follow your hunt’s rules for proper male attire! Or just forgo earning your colors and forever wear tan breeches.

And if anyone can advise me on how to get ruby port stains out of white breeches, please post. :wine_glass:

Would spraying with some kind of stain repellant help deflect rain and wine both? Scotchgard? Or waterproof camping spray?

I’ve got colors with three hunts and it is always tan or white with the scarlet coat. I recognize that some hunts might be different but I’d be checking before I would wear white.

I base my reply on just my one hunt. I have never seen any man with colors wearing anything but white breeches with pink coat on formal attire Saturday hunts, and women whips and field masters likewise. Them’s the MFH rules in my town.

Yes, for gentlemen with colors, it’s white breeches and scarlet coats in our hunt.

This is hubby’s first year with colors, so he got used to wearing winter breeches in beige. He prefers the less bulky single layer feeling because wearing thermals or long underwear under regular weight breeches always seem to be twisting or bunches up.

Luckily for me, women with colors still wear beige breeches unless they’re staff, so I have several options for appropriate colored winter weight clothing. Ironically, I can find winter weight breeches in white for ladies, but no similar options for the gents.

Try TeQ, a New Zealand brand that ships worldwide. Failing them, The Brave Pants Company, also New Zealand.

These are women’s, but go up to an XXL which they say is 42”. https://ridecorrectconnect.com/collections/breeches-2/products/copy-of-correct-connect™-just-right-winter-breeches-in-dove-grey?variant=44270932820200
