Mercedes western saddle

Hi everyone!

I’m having an old western saddle for trial atm and I tried to google saddle specs but found absolutely nothing about it.

The latigo holder says “Mercedes 149999”. There is also a marking on the right fender which says: “N.W.C.A p. H.C. 1983 HI POINT YOUTH”.

Can anyone tell me anything about the saddle? Quality? Manufacturer? Tree?

N.W.C.A p. H.C - Found out via google that there is a show/college? nicknamed the NWC, and that there is/was an appaloosa show (ApHC) there.

We used to order stable supplies from the Libertyville catalog, several decades ago.
They had good bulk prices on halters and such.

I don’t quite remember that was the name of their western saddles, interesting.
