They are an incredible team![/QUOTE]
No kidding, they were flying ----- so much for the rumor that Shutterfly was
sold or being sold or some such ---------
I have a love affair with Shutterfly:lol:
He’s my favorite!
That was an amazing Dash for Cash ending! A very exciting jump off. I was still sad for Sapphire, that would have been a great win for a great team.
Shutterfly is so incredible…I literally get chills watching that horse jump. It breaks my heart that he’s a gelding
Didn’t get a chance to watch, so happy for Shutterfly! What an amazing horse/pair!
However, I was sad to hear about Up Chiqui…do you guys think it’s the end of the road for him? He’s not done so well here recently.
YAY for Merideth & Shutterfly! Such an amazing team they are! Shutterfly has the most amazing jump. So careful, fast and a huge effort over every fence.
Meredith & Shutterfly are awesome… and after riding in the same division as her for years in the eq classes in California, it’s pretty cool to see her on top of the world.
Poltroon, I was trying to remember. Who did Meredith ride with as a junior?
I remember her riding with George Morris, don’t know who she rode with in California.
Meredith trained with Karen Healey for most of her junior years, though I don’t know who she started with.
Congrats Meredith and Shutterfly, 3-time winners of the World Cup Finals.
I think there are only a few people who have won all three legs (although I guess technically they tied today).
It’s wonderful how much credit she gives to her horse. He is just amazing! And I don’t think a lot of people could ride him like she does.
Yay for them!
Meredith totally deserved that. It touched me how emotional she was in the interview. Her dad passed away a month ago. I knew her as a jr rider in CA.
It was a great class, well ridden. I liked McLain’s round too, but Meredith really deserved that, it was flawless.
She started with Foxfield Riding School in Westlake Village, CA. I remember her riding Humdinger in the Children’s Jumpers on teams with Candace Schlom (King)
Congrats to Meredith and Shutterfly - much deserved!! Awesome last round.
Congratulations to Meredith and Shutterfly. They truly are an outstanding pair. I am proud of Rich and McLain for staying closeby but it wasn’t meant to be for them.
We probably rode in the same classes as well then… LOL.
Shutterfly was amazing, absolutely flying over the fences. All the clear rounds were nice but his was in a class of its own. A well-deserved win for both of them.
Here are a couple of very early photos of Meredith
in 1982 at Santa Barbara Turkey Show, Childrens Jumper Teams, with costumes. Also in the pic are Candace Schlom (King) and Ele Goldstein.
Humdinger is the horse Meredith is holding far left

This next one is Junior Jumpers 1984
Meredith is with Forest County in this one
Also in the photo are Joie Gatlin with Jericho, Gigi Herman and Just you Wait, and Jenny Iverson on Steer Clear.

great memories.
love Shutterfly!!! but don’t know why Melanie Smith keeps going on and on about how much TB he has in him. It is 3/8ths = that is it.
