Message Saying I can't Add to a Thread?

I was trying to contribute to a thread and there is a message at the bottom of the page stating that I can’t reply to the thread, or start a new one. I don’t THINK I’m in trouble… Any thoughts?

It’s the “Show Us Your Dogs” thread under “Off Topic Day”.
