Hi All, the title says it all. I’ve had great success using Metabarol; however, insulin levels are creeping up. Has anyone else experienced this? On another thread, I found a post where someone asked the same question of InsulinWise, but no one responded. Thank you.
I do not have any experience with Metabarol, but did want you to know that your post was seen. I would be interested in reading your experience with high insulin levels and also with the drug.
I am also curious to hear more about this. I looked into Metabarol for my way-too-easy keeper Morgan mare but due to the price never took a chance on it.
Hi there! I use it on two PPID, IR horses and have had very good luck w it. I also feed them Equinity. The Metabarol has significantly more resveratrol than InsulinWise. I did try InsulinWise, but their insulin levels did creep up, and went down significantly when we went back to Metabarol. Insulin levels are creeping up now (still within normal ranges) and it may well be our crazy weather. Snow one day, sunny and warm the next…the grass is still very green in areas so it may simply be that. I just wondered if anyone else had experience w Metabarol. And yes, it’s expensive.
