MFHA message: Looking for comments to CNN

This is a message I received yesterday:

To All:

This is very important! If we stay silent, you can expect the consequences. It is much bigger than just our sport. It has everything to do with our lifestyles and love of animals. These truly are the hard core animal rights organizations with the most popular attractions to the public and the most hidden agendas. I hope you agree and will make the effort.

MFHA
ALERT!!!

Tomorrow night at 7:00pm ET (4:00pm PT), CNN will air a special, entitled “Jane’s Fight For Animal Rights.” The show will feature animal rights activist Jane Velez-Mitchell speaking with representatives from HSUS, In Defense of Animals, Sea Shepherd, Farm Sanctuary, and Mercy For Animals. Hardcore animal rights groups, every one. It will also include special guests Bob Barker, Pierce Brosnan and Jorja Fox of CSI.

These radical animal rights groups are being given an unprecedented FULL HOUR of television to spew their garbage, with NOT ONE MINUTE allotted to those who know the truth, that the goal of these groups is to end to our relationship with animals. We have less than 24 hours to let CNN know that their biased and unbalanced reporting is not acceptable, and to demand equal time be given to the opposing point of view. Also known as the TRUTH.

If you value your animals, hunting, and even more, believe in your right to own them, click here. Scroll to the Contact Us section at the bottom of the page and tell CNN you opinion of their decision to air this show. It’s a few minutes out of your life, but it could make a huge difference to your future with your animals.

Now it’s time to flood CNN with our opposition to this program. Don’t let your rights be dictated by elements of the lunatic fringe and clueless celebrities. Do it now!

Permission to cross post as widely as possible. The more the comments to CNN, the better!

Sent. I refuse to watch CNN or MSNBC anyway, and am not at all surprised either network would give such extremist fanatics an hour of time without rebuttal (it’s pretty much SOP) but I complained. And I’ll continue to not tune in.

Could someone considering it, or who knows how to find these things, find out who any corporate sponsors are so we know whom NOT to patronize?

Do you think it would be appropiate to post this also on the Off Course forum, so more can become aware of this?

I would, but too many on COTH are animal rights followers and will jump on me, because I am not and have stated so clearly many times and the message will be lost in that shuffle.

I sent a comment and posted this on my Hunt’s facebook site.

I’ve never watched the show, but I clicked on the link. Its promoters seem to aim the program at the same folks who buy little newspapers with headlines like “Bigfoot Made Me Pregnant.”

Somehow I doubt that, even if a reasoned rational rebuttal were aired, that the sort of pinhead who waste time on that type of show could take in more than every fifth word.

I posted this on off course as well, but I can’t find it.

It’s there, I just looked…
