Michael Barisone Hearing, Tuesday, April 23

It’s enraging that Taylor is being this immature and petty, and that there is no recourse. Ugh.

Why is there no recourse? Why can’t complaints be lodged against him?

I think that Michael will continue to do well and they can only kick the can down the road for so long…

Agree. Especially if the testimony has been anything like it has been in the past.

Why is a judge being allowed to overrule what the Psychiatrist recommends? (Again)

Does anyone now what happened with the appeal of the first Krol hearing?

I believe some conversation occurred about complaints being filed against Taylor after the criminal trial. I can’t remember the details but it appears to have had zero impact.

The appeal was unsuccessful

Sigh!

I am saddened to hear that Judge T is once again being… himself. (I could not come up with any polite words so landed on himself.)

Doctors treating Michael say he is fine but Judge T has to be Judge T.

If I understand correctly they want him to admit he shot her?
But… Didn’t the jury settle that question with their verdict?
So why is the Judge and Prosecutor re- litigating that? Do TayHorn not respect the jury’s decision?

How is the hearing discussing anything beyond his therapy and success thus far in therapy and advice from those in the mental health fields re his future therapy needs???
That should be the beginning and end of…

I’m not sure how long Taylor can ignore actual experts in their fields though. He’s not mental health profession of any kind? His fixation on MB admitting that he shot her is his fixation. Do the mental health professionals believe that absolutely must happen to move on?

The other thing to consider is that this does make MB look good in a way. If he keeps getting “denied” and handles it well, it only demonstrates further that he’s mentally stable and well. So again, you can kick the can, but only for so long.

It seems so weird though.

Prior to this, Judge T and Schelly complained that Michael was horrible for wanting to discuss the shooting with his mental health professionals, that he was trying to re-litigate it and that he needed to let it go. Now Judge T and Schelly are doing that very same thing that Michael was not doing but they claimed he was doing.

Judge Taylor, especially, has now painted himself into a corner.

They can. Google is your friend. Just ask Google how to file a complaint in NJ courts

The problem is that (based on posts on this board) multiple people here did exactly that, filed complaints, and received replies that there was no misconduct.

I think they really want someone to admit that he remembers. That way they can use the idea that they can ignore the psychs because he played them and so their opinions aren’t valid.

Whatever it is, in their minds, they believe Michael pulled a fast one and they were denied a conviction so they are going to engage in vigilante justice.

Taylor is just going to have to eventually get over it. Even convicted criminals have their release dates and the criminal justice system doesn’t recognize keeping people locked up past that based on what they may do once they get out.

I am aware of Google, but thanks, I guess.

My question was in response to several posts here that stated there was no recourse, that complaints can’t be lodged.

My concern re complaints about any of the players in this miscarriage of justice is the potential for retaliation against MB.

If MB or his spokespeople asked for it, I’d do it.

Indeed, thanks TayHorn for allowing MB to demonstrate how well he handles nonsense.

Excellent points

Was Nancy Jaffer or other reporters there?
Would love to know who else from the KKlan was there.
