Does anyone know any update about Netflix? Any update on LK activity? She apparently hasn’t been showing, and from what I hear, she’s not even “training”. Makes one wonder….

I wonder if the shooting is effecting her differently now. I know she was riding fairly quickly after getting out of the hospital. But long term health problems might be coming out. Kind of like how covid can create ongoing issues after you’ve “recovered” from it. Then again it might just be another phase in her drug use.

Lung issues can be a bi&%$ for sure…ask me how I know… but I am more inclined to think she is not putting in the work anyone needs to do to show.
The last video of her that I saw showed a very stiff rider. I suspect she would not take kindly to having that pointed out to her.

Hopefully her horses are getting ridden by someone else who is kind to them, and receiving good care at the barn she currently boards at.

On some level… that actually might be better for them than having Lolly Pop riding them. Especially when it comes to the chestnut that was videoed wearing that piece of equipment that tied its nose down. Hopefully that horse is getting relaxed regular work in a basic snaffle

I honestly don’t think this is it. To me it’s more likely that she is losing interest since she is just another AA with not a lot of talent, which means to accomplish anything she has to work pretty damn hard. LK has always been about the quick fix or easy accomplishment, hard work - not so much.

When she was infamous, everyone was interested in what she was doing and her riding. A year later, she’s basically a nobody, just another spoiled “rich” woman who has little to contribute to society.

She was that at Michael’s farm. Not showing up for lessons etc. Just status quo.

This description could be applied to many, many dressage ladies (well, not just dressage!), but the difference is that few of those other ladies make it their life’s ambition to try to destroy another person. They may spend most of their free time “playing with horses” and they may be catty from time to time, but they don’t spend every moment of every day living in the past and trying to figure out new ways to FTB.

I saw an episode of 20/20 recently about a guy convicted of killing his wife who claimed to be innocent and an interesting pair of podcasters who are former prosecutors discovered the story and iirc fought to get his conviction overturned.
I thought of MB wrt the efforts of these prosecutor podcasters and their frustration with the lame case the prosecution brought against this husband
I’ll post the podcast name if I ever remember it.

I cant wait to learn more about the Netflix special. I am hoping they use more of the SM aspect than what we saw by CBS.

Until she finds a new pot to stir

I wish she would set her sights on someone else and let Michael Barisone and his loved ones live their lives in peace.

I wish she would set her sights on no one, and leave everyone in peace.

Of course, that would be best. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s possible. She thrives on destroying other people.

You know, something I’ve wondered about off and on with regard to Netflix… do they have access to all of her behavior on social media? And her texts and phone records between her and her crazy parents and that boyfriend, what’s his name? She wasn’t on trial of course, and the jury only got glimpses into the whole deal.

I am always impressed with the deep dive that Netflix does. I love a good documentary, the truth is always just so interesting. Heck I’ve watched their shows about car racing and golf and the nfl…three things I could care less about, it’s the nuances of real life and pressure that’s fascinating. We got a glimpse of the nitty gritty with 48 Hours and they only had so much time, resources and interest in going deeper. Netflix presumably has the money and resources to go much further into everyone’s story.

Agreed. And as we have experienced here by LK, her parents, friends, and even the dog, there is most definitely more to the story. I also hope that the judge is featured so that his less than professional behavior and lack of adherence to procedure is brought into the open.

Edited as I have now had more coffee and realized that my original post didnt make alot of sense.

This is what I’d like to see, more about the cops, the judge and the attorneys. I’ve heard enough about the nutso lives of the kanawrecks.

I rewatched the cross examination of RG yesterday, and it was so glaringly obvious that he was lying. I truly don’t believe the shooting went down the way he and LK said it did. I wish the jury would have found MB straight up NG on all counts. Although it’s too late to rectify that, I also hope that Netflix explores all the evidence that exposes the malice perpetrated by the judge and police. I just can’t get past the fact that they took the word of two drug addicted criminals as their only evidence of MB’s guilt. :rage:

It will add dimensions if they will go into biographies of who the main characters are in this drama, beginning long, long before the shooting.

This incident is what some crime analysts call ‘in slow motion’. It didn’t just suddenly happen one day, with no warning. It built up gradually.

There was a directional life trajectory on the part of MB and LK, based who each was as a person, and how each of them lived their lives. That built toward their initial introduction and then their interaction on the farm. That would be fascinating as the approach to the story. IMO.
