Michael Barisone

I noticed the other day the Equestrians Against Normalcy game uses the phrase “a monkey humping a football” on one of its answer cards and it made me quite nostalgic for the NP thread.

Ratings are used to determine advertising rates and whether shows get renewed. Nobody really cares about the people who aren’t watching, because they won’t be viewing ads either. To eliminate the people who don’t watch TV at all, look at the share instead of the rating. Share is the percentage of people watching that particular show out of the televisions that are turned on at that time. And yes, many people aren’t counted individually in ratings. They are extrapolated based on a sample of households with Nielsen boxes placed in their home for a limited time period. It basically has to be done that way. If every television was reporting back what people watched at all times, you know many people would be up in arms about that.

He has a variety of Facebook pages of his own, covering various topics [poorly] including Dressage and politics and diet [cause you know when your Cholesterol is through the roof, suddenly you are an expert- piffle! ].
He has his own pages because eventually everyone gives him the boot, for good reason.
Including one page that presently proclaims
‘There’s a big difference between having sex with a teenager and raping someone’ and ‘Clearly these girls…’ the Epstein victims, ‘don’t appear to be “victims”…
"They went with him repeatedly… they posed for pictures… had parties with celebrities and ate amazing food…’
[Oh yeah right, amazing food = not rape, how could I forget?]
"…I see very willing participants… victims are forced… if the story was he drugged these girls I would say it was rape…’

Lets all just be glad his ‘say’ isn’t the law. Coth doesn’t allow words adequate to describe this …. [person]

Did I mention he’s a father to girls who are young teens/tweens, iirc?

I think that [above] and his riding videos on YouTube pretty much say it all.

@Angela Freda oh wow. I had no idea about those comments. That makes my skin crawl. I hope he’s not giving lessons to young girls with that attitude.

Or rides home to friends of his daughters.
Utterly and thoroughly disgusted by the attitudes he espouses, largely unchecked.
Good people, please say something!

still has not been charged… the court date was to have been Nov 4th which evidently did not occur

Barisone is currently detained in the Morris County Correctional Facility while the charges are pending. He has another hearing scheduled for early November.

3 million of those watching are actually TV sets setup in Best Buy all on the same channel

Ahahaha And you are probably right!

He was charged with two counts of attempted murder in August as well as weapons weapons charges. I don’t know what the November appearance was supposed to be, but had he not been charged yet, his being held would be highly illegal and unconstitutional.

Armchair lawyering.

He is accused of a felony. In felony proceedings, the arraignment constitutes as follows:

The accused is informed of the charges against him and his right to a trial by jury as well as the potential penalties for the charge of which he is accused. He is informed of his right to counsel. Bail is determined.

However, a preliminary hearing just be held to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to bring forth to trial that the defendant could have committed the crime with which he is charged. The preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 4.

It is only once the defendant has been bound over to criminal court on determination of the grand jury or preliminary hearing that a defendant is formally charged and facing trial by jury.

I’m not the one who claimed he was not charged. He was. No armchair lawyering about that - he was charged at his arraignment in August.

It’s apparently like an equestrian version of Cards Against Humanity, which is possibly the funniest game ever

My bad, a preliminary hearing. I just knew it was something about the charges.

So, uh, yeah, that was me who said that.

Man, I’d be lost without the legal experts here.
