I don’t think it worked, because he promptly disclosed it and the partial ruling was fair to all sides. It’s not like he gave the K’s a free pass.

I was getting confused by people thinking that particular private letter was helping Jonathan Kanarek (@Inigo-montoya) with the original civil case judge. (I am not talking about any other letters to random people that Jonathan Kanarek might have sent, just this one.)

That judge immediately informed everyone about the communication.
That is not the sign of a judge being influenced by a very inappropriate letter. That is the sign of a judge who is being upfront with all parties.

Couldn’t be earlier than the 6th because that was when the house cameras were installed. Also, the location of the cameras correlate to being able to record RC getting bitten as is claimed.

It couldn’t be a phone video….RG and LK’s phones were taken by the police. That is why she said she couldn’t produce the discovery. So, if MCPO took the phones, and yet did not turn over any videos, then one must conclude that there were no videos on the phone/devices that were taken by MCPO.

So, if they are talking about a phone video, then it must be on a device that wasn’t collected or they must have been deleted before it was collected. Didn’t RG testify that LK ran over toward a pond before jumping on MB’s arm?

He devised this thing using zip ties that went around LK’s arms and attached behind her back to apparently help keep her shoulders back. In other words, a major accident waiting to happen. I wonder if she would have sued him had she fallen and gotten hurt?

I think the parties should get any and all videos, audios and whatever recordings or transcribed recordings, and they determine what is relevant to their case. Ignoring a subpoena, well, that is just not good judgment and reflects badly on the person being subpoenaed. AND IMO, make the ignoree look mighty suspicious and guilty of something.

I thought that incident with the truck happened a few days or maybe the week before August 7, and RG/LK claimed that they just put the cameras up around the house a day or two before August 7, but I won’t swear to it by this time.

MCPO certainly should have collected the recordings, along with lots of other evidence they neglected to gather. Fingerprints, gun shot residue, etc., etc.

The officer in the Miranda hearings said RG offered up a video immediately. Maybe they felt they didn’t need to collect those things when there was video evidence to collect showing the event and MB did it…

The lawyer for SGF was asking for the forensics on the phones from MCPO. This is in no way redundant, something I would think you should already know. SGF did not have an official copy of any of this information, all they had was stuff passed along to them from Michael’s attorneys. You know how this legal stuff works. They needed official copies of everything.

SGF’s attorney is asking for videoS, not a single video. More than one video. Multiple videos.
We do not know how many videoS he is asking for, but it is very likely that the audio recording referenced makes it very clear to SGF and their lawyers.

At issue is also Lauren Kanarek’s contributions to the incident. SGF has been pretty clear, if you actually read their filings, that they are pursuing her acts and omissions.

Jonathan Kanarek (@Inigo-montoya) is a freaking lawyer. He is not someone who has no clue how the law thing works.

Yes, but he has always managed to get his own and his family members’ legal transgressions “handled” before. He obviously knows how to work the system and, coupled with no morals, his actions aren’t surprising. It’s just terribly sad that the system has let society down and allowed these people to continue their despicable ways for so many years.

It might be a good example for other departments to learn from, but this (these) department(s) thinks they did an amazing job on all fronts so it appears they are not willing to learn from their mistakes.

SGF is defending against LKs suit. They have a cross complaint against MB, but no counter suit against LK.
