I just don’t think it’s OK to shoot a flawed individual because you hate her. I don’t think it’s admirable to bash and trash a gunshot victim, however flawed, to indulge in the pleasure of hate. The mob and the pleasure of hate are related phenomena, in my view.

Because it supports a key aspect of what the K-Klan is alleging - i.e., mis-management of his own financial affairs proves that MB engaged in sloppy business practices. And said “sloppy business practices” were primarily responsible for the deteriorating relationship between him and LK.
IOW, it wasn’t the fact that she was/is a lying, drug-addict grifter with no work ethic or sense of responsibility or morality, who orchestrated and conducted a terror campaign against him that threatened his business, his friendships and other personal relationships, and his professional career and reputation, that caused the friction between them. But rather it was all his own fault - i.e., his inability to effectively manage his business affairs resulted in everything going to h*** in a handbasket, and she therefore isn’t responsible for his mental breakdown.
Or so it looks to those on the K side of the aisle.

He is, after all, the one who provided the name of “our little group” thinking it would be a disrespectful slap in our faces. Instead, we embraced his sad attempt at shaming us. Isn’t he the same age, or older, than most of us, as is his lovely elderly wife? We’ve already learned the word “mob” was inappropriate, as was the word “illegal” (the illegality was never explained), which then left “elderly”. Elderly is a reference to age and most of us are happy to be considered healthy and “elder”. Dang, when I was your age I thought anyone over the age of 40 was elderly! His cute little name calling was a level of disrespect, yet you embrace his every word. You have a seriously skewed level of respect, dear.
I do actually wonder how you are able to spend so much time on these threads defending your champions.

I don’t think anyone on these forums has ever said it’s ok to shoot a flawed individual out of hate. That would be a very extreme position to take, and endorsement of criminal behavior. I also reject all the talk about “the pleasure of hate.”
As for the label “gunshot victim” … that’s a very specific label. Is anyone shot by a gun automatically a “gunshot victim” in your opinion? What about in situations where one party is being aggressive and violent, and another party shoots them in self defense? Is the aggressive and violent person actually a “gunshot victim” in a situation like that? What about in situations where someone is shot entirely accidentally during a mutual struggle. Is the person who is shot accidentally a “gunshot victim?”

Nowhere in that comment did I mention your name. I was talking about people (g) who defend the Kanareks. Regardless, the comment has now been deleted, because someone flagged it for the mods. Which is fine. I respect the mods decisions.
Last thing, I’m definitely not paid to post on these threads. It would be kinda awesome if I was paid by somebody for posting on COTH. Imagine such a thing! But sadly I’m not.
That seems like a stupid strategy to pick to defend her own actions, and deflect responsibility.
People are sloppy with respect to personal business issues all.the.time. That is no justification for a client freaking out and waging a bizarre and prolonged campaign of extreme psychological harassment.
Yeah, try throwing the slide with a broken arm to chamber a round after inserting a fresh magazine. I guess it would be possible esp. with adrenaline pumping on FULL but dang - it makes me cringe to think about the amount of pain. There is also the fact that it would be so much more difficult to maintain control of the gun with a broken arm, esp. while trying to throw the slide. I mean, you wouldn’t have the mechanical functionality needed to hold the gun steady throughout that process. I know MB is a big strong guy, but I think I would have given him less than a 10% chance of being able to reload and chamber a round with a broken arm.

I wonder if while there they will all discuss the subpoenas that Jonathan Kanarek and Kirby Kanarek have once again refused to answer, or the ignored court orders, or Lauren’s deposition?
