Would a hospital do a search of the state’s PDM database to verify if a patient had current prescriptions for controlled substances?

Thats one place they can look, but for the most part, they’ll give the medication that is needed for the patient when it’s needed.

Suboxone is routinely given in a hospital setting as it’s a pain killer that doesn’t make you high. It binds to the same receptors that heroin does.

If someone has a substance use disorder the hospital isn’t going to deny pain meds, that just has to be dealt with later.

I just don’t think it’s OK to shoot a flawed individual because you hate her. I don’t think it’s admirable to bash and trash a gunshot victim, however flawed, to indulge in the pleasure of hate. The mob and the pleasure of hate are related phenomena, in my view.

But you are okay with a woman and her two companions planning the mental and physical destruction of a very successful athlete? A man who did her no harm whatsoever other than chose to no longer stand around in his ring waiting for her to show up for lessons, and therefore, relegated her to lower level trainers. A man she hated because he put his feelings for his girlfriend and her children above his feelings for HER. You are okay with a publicly posted manifesto and social media campaign to destroy this man via threats and lies? You’re okay with falsifying a report to SS, planting recording and video devices, destroying personal property, contacting municipal inspection agencies on false pretenses?

As far as your renewed idea of the pleasure of hate - once again I ask you to focus your idea on the maniacal hatred of Lauren Kanarek toward others. Once you consider all this, then we can discuss my emotions regarding this horrible situation, which do not include hate.

And now I wonder @Virginia_Horse_Mom, if the title of EIM is so offensive and should be thought of as horrible, which is what is being implied, shouldn’t they take that up with @Inigo-montoya, who labelled everyone that? How can they blame the labelled people for the label given by someone they call their favorite?

I’m torn on how to explain this.

Part of me thinks it might be a simple oversight on @CurrentlyHorseless ‘s part. She might have forgotten IM’s original remarks simply because any and all mob talk makes her so nervous, and she gets clutchy clutchy with her pearls, then reverts to ‘humorless scold mode’

But another part of me is a little suspicious. And I think @CurrentlyHorseless might be trying to do this weird thing where they accuse us of something bad, when really it’s their own associates who started the nonsense, and then sit back and keep on poking at us when we get frustrated by this, and criticize us for getting defensive about their unfair accusations and characterizations… I’m trying to remember the term for this sort of thing… give me a minute… it’ll come.

Anyways, I’m sort of suspicious CH might be doing that. But it would be TERRIBLE of me to accuse her of something like that. So I won’t.

No one here seems to be indulging in this IMO - but LK had practically made it a joyous lifestyle and truly seemed to be enjoying her little machinations, manifestos and manipulations.

I certainly know couples where the woman out earns the man. But I don’t know any middle aged trust fund junkies, so no idea what’s the norm there.

I actually know two such couples rather well. All four are middle-aged and none has held anything close to a real job for probably 40+ years. They are rather decent folks - at least compared to the people like the K-Klan - but I have to admit, I don’t have much respect for either husband for not making any attempt to earn their own way. I give the wives more of a pass because they were busy raising children. (I totally get it that mothering is often a full-time job. I am a bit old-fashioned that way, being elderly and all. )

Uh, you seem to be quite envious/jealous of being on the wrong side of the facts and therefore excluded from the popular opinion, not just on these threads but elsewhere. Why attack so vehemently? It can’t be that the video does not exist, like someone tries to claim, because there is proof it existed and Jonathan Kanarek had it.
I would think that if this family wanted this civil case to move forward they would answering the questions being asked as part of discovery. I mean…Jonathan Kanarek posted here insisting he wanted to fully cooperate. Was that a lie? < gasp > But I thought Jonathan Kanarek never told lies.

And why is Kirby Kanarek (@Seeker1) not sending along the transcripts. Her and Lauren Kanarek claimed to have them and be sending them all to AK before the Krol hearing. How could they all have become too hard to get their hands on to send along in that short period of time? Kirby posted on this very forum that she made those transcripts. Lauren has posted all over the internet that her mother made transcripts of all the recordings and they were sending them to places like SafeSport and other places to hurt Michael. It seems like handing over those transcripts would be so easy. Not worth ignoring a subpoena a second time for. So then one has to go - I wonder why…

So many questions, but just more added delays brought on by the people who say they want to cooperate in the civil suit filed by their daughter. So strange that their actions do not seem to match up with the words they post/say.

I believe that video shows that Jonathan Kanarek (@Inigo-montoya) is more involved in the situation leading up to the shooting than he would like people to know. That video, combined with the recording that proves the video exists, makes Jonathan Kanarek look bad, and not just the supportive elderly father image he wants people to believe.

While I was typing that there are some theories on the Kirby Kanarek (@Seeker1) transcript side of this.
That was going to be my theory too. That the produced and dispersed transcripts that Lauren and Kirby have gloated about do not actually match the illegal recordings they were made from.
