I would think it would cheaper for all parties if Silver et al just went to Flordia and sat in the same room with them. I mean, how much could that cost? Some airline tickets for them? Probablyy paid for in the cut of the number of days the deposition will take.

question - What will be done to ensure that LK’s room for the dposition is correct? No other people in it, will there be other cameras on her to show her not discussing things unauthorized, to show what she’s doing?

I am brought to remember that I just took national boards - test - at a testing center, where you were ‘wanded’ to be sure you weren’t hiding video or audio equipment on your person, where you were not allowed to bring anything (like a weapon) into the room, you could have a marker and a wipe board, very high security, for a test.

Will Lauren have any kind of people ensuring security? What if she has he phone turned on, and is texting or recieving texts and answers from someone else? What if her father sits in the room with her, off camera?

Even if MB’s lawyers don’t want to go to the expense of schlepping themselves and all the equipment to Florida, it seems like it would be money well spent to have one person in the room with LK and representing them to make sure everything is on the up and up.

I doubt her father would be much help at this point, he hasn’t shown a brilliant legal mind so far. She is the plaintiff. Evasion will only get her so far.

Personally, I believe if the Kanareks can rig this deposition they will. They’ve shown by their behavior, all of them, rules are for suckers and all they care about is winning. Period. Remember, this is one giant game to all of them.

Regardless, just like the trial, she will be under oath. We know that most lawyers don’t ask a question without already knowing the answer. Game on.

With all her conflicting accounts and twisting of events, would YOU want to be the one who said, “Oh, we’ll never need that post. Let’s leave it behind!”??

I don’t know. Compare the arrest record to the conviction record for the whole family. They must have figured out how to work the system over the years. Practice makes perfect.

The simplest solution would be to have a court reporter in the room with her, rather than in a room with one of the attorneys.

Not in this case however. She is the Plaintiff. She has to prove many things, and unlike getting an assault pleaded down or dismissed as a Defendant, this is a whole 'nother can of worms.

If this even makes it to trial, the trial will be an airing of Kanarek dirty laundry and it won’t be pleasant. SGF and Barisone have attorneys that are raring to go, they know what they’ve got, you could see that at the criminal trial.

It seems like LK has threatened many many lawsuits on these forums alone over the last few years…

Ahhh, but do not doubt the brilliance of Sliver, Denlinger and Bilinkas.

This is not their first rodeo with LK, and these are men who learn from experience and will use it to their advantage. Of this, I have no doubt.

Also, do not forget there are many, many things that will be allowed in the civil case that was not allowed in the criminal case. Look at all the social media that has been produced by good ole LK since the criminal trial- in her own name and under aliases.

And let’s go back to the principle in life that what you put out there comes back to you ten fold. We know who has put out some pretty crappy stuff. I wouldn’t stand next to her in an electrical storm!

Yes, I believe that they (the Ks) are completely out of their depth at this point in time.

If the depositions are on zoom, i expect they will be recorded. And yes, you’d want a court reported there as well, or some person to help with technical stuff. I would hope her attorney attends with her, in person with her, not just on another zoom window.
