I have posted on other threads that my first thought while watching RG describe MB during the criminal trial was - “Oh, there is jealousy there!” I think he hated that MB was a self-made successful businessman, a highly successful athlete with international name recognition, an Olympian, he moved in a circle of other top international riders and trainers, he enjoyed a good reputation in the community as a decent person who paid his bills and his taxes and caused no problems for authorities, he wasn’t a drug addict, etc. RG was none of that - and yet his Princess was so infatuated with MB that she refused to leave HH and would rather destroy MB than have to leave his program.
RG jumped right on board with LK’s campaign of terror because he too wanted to destroy MB so Princess would turn her attentions back to him (RG). His resentment was palpable even over the internet. I can’t imagine how strong those vibes were right there in the courtroom.
Oh look, yet another reason one might delay discovery. Statue of Limitations on any charges that might be filed against you.
Now that is an interesting angle I had not thought of before.
Human nature being what it is I see this theory as entirely plausible and likely.
What continues to strike me in this kerfuffle is the fact that the 27D chess player actually thought and believed her plot, her grift, would work and was a better idea than just leaving and going somewhere she was actually wanted.
Look at it this way. Look at what the Kanarek family is doing to delay their own civil case, and then imagine trying to be someone who just wants a divorce from Lauren Kanarek.
The actual divorce might have been finalized in 2007, who knows how long it was going on before that.
Agree. And I am repeating myself again, but IMHO it was because her brain is wired in a way that believes that if she doesn’t WIN, it is akin to rejection. And for people like that, rejection is a fate too horrible to contemplate. Their entire lives revolve around a desperate search for acceptance and worship. It is what makes them feel worthy and shields them from having to face the black hole inside them.
Unfortunately, this issue is likely to rear its ugly head during the civil situation as well. How does a lawyer get a client like this to agree to a good settlement?
But had she told herself that SHE was rejecting HIM/THEM then she could have psychologically come to terms with the situation as it was her choosing to leave. But she didn’t do that. She needed to punish.
I can totally see why. How can an unlicensed robot practice law? It would be different if it was feeding into to an attorney, rather straight to the defendant. the defendant is now stuck with the penalty because he relied on the robot who had ny law loaded and not nj law?
I’m being AI will come for law, but this seems a bit premature
Yes, that too. But she would know deep down inside that the REAL reason she had to walk away was because her adversary was rejecting her. And that ABSOLUTELY.CANNOT.HAPPEN. People with that kind of deep-seated personality disorder are often completely shattered when they are forced to come face to face with the realization that THEY.ARE.NOT.WANTED.
She punishes because her adversary is pushing her closer to the edge - and she knows it.
A malignant narcissist is compelled to punish any disobedience even the tiniest one. Even a difference of opinion results in consequences such as the narcissist being unavailable for a few days.
I have the ingredients for Coquito sitting 15 feet from me in a cupboard.
Was going to make it for Christmas but didn’t. Haven’t made it since then because it’s 50,000 calories that I don’t need. But reading these posts has me giving that cupboard the side eye LOL
