I am wondering about Jonathan Kanarek (@Inigo-montoya) and Kirby Kanarek (@Seeker1) and this whole implead situation.

If discovery shows that JK was an important part of the recordings could he be added to that part of the counter claim? Does him telling Lauren Kanarek to install them and then telling her what to do with the recordings count as enough to be responsible?
Does KK making the transcripts from the recordings and distributing them make her responsible for anything?

If you want to explain it with a drawing, I am ok with that.

Speaking of which, common law marriage is not recognized in FL unless it was recognized in a previous state the couple lived in. There are only 5 states and DC that currently recognize common law marriage. Poor RG has struck out again.

In the meantime, if Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek ever decide to cooperate with discovery, AND evidence surfaces that show the recordings were done at Dad’s direction, and/or they were also distributing the info contained in the recordings, then yes. MB and his attorneys could ask the court to implead them into the case.

I have to assume that Kirby Kanarek (@Seeker1) was not realizing she was putting herself at risk for being financially responsible for such a huge issue when she helped Lauren Kanarek and Jonathan Kanarek with their Finish the Bastard plan.
This is likely a good reason for her to have her own lawyer, separate from Lauren’s lawyer and Jonathan’s lawyer (if he ever gets one).

Maybe while they are in Florida they will figure out who gets to use what lawyer for all this.

A friend and I were discussing recently how intoxicating the dressage scene is during the season in Wellington. It is a genuine rush to be part of it any way. Ocala and Tryon are developing their own scene but it will be a while before they truly compare with Wellington. I can understand how LK, once she felt that sweet feeling of the epitome of the sport, was never going to walk away from it with her illusions of grandeur. I can see Mom & Pop drinking it up too. But, alas, it is all gone. They can walk through and window shop, but that dream is gone for all of them forever. Not even money will find her a way in again.

If providing what they have been asked for makes them responsible for the wire tapping charges, I guess it makes sense that they are avoiding responding.
But… they have to answer discovery at some point.
