Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

SM popped in after a chunk of silence just to make a comment about LO who has not been involved in these threads. Don’t be disingenuous and pretend she actually has concerns for LO. Because if she did? She wouldn’t have posted that.

Speaking of looking awful, I re-ran the numbers on RG and found something interesting. Normally, he would have graduated in 1995 - the year he had his first adult criminal charges at 18 years and 3 months of age and the year when LK entered HS - and we thought he did, but it turns out that he was held back and had to repeat his Senior year, as an 18/19-year old. That means he spent two years as a Senior, in HS with LK, when she was a Freshman and Sophomore. He either graduated or walked out of the school system, in 96, as he isn’t named in the 97 yearbook. Before 94, it seems neither he or his sister were attending that school, for whatever reason, so there might have been something going on with the two of them that required them to live elsewhere. If you look at LK in the yearbooks, her appearance turns markedly different/worse as the years go by, starting with her Sophomore year, a time at which we know RG had been into drugs and alcohol. We know in 97, he was engaging in burglary, likely to fund his drug use. Anyway, it got me thinking that maybe RG got her into drugs and alcohol before she crashed her car into a tree and it got worse after that, when she became a full-tilt addict as an adult, and that tight-knit familiarity from shared drug use in the younger years is what has kept them together all these years.

I’m not being disingenuous. I don’t know whether her stated concerns are real or fake.

I agree with you :100:

Weird, because my 18yo daughter and her friends can quote every line from the film, despite not seeing the original release in movie theatres as pre-verbal infants.

The claim that LK “caused” his insanity is not offered by his defense lawyers as a defense against her claim that he shot her, so that is not the grounds on which they’ll try to establish that she is in part responsible.

Which is more tiring for you: being that pedantic or being that wrong?

She will get NOWHERE with any attempt to sue 48 hours. I’m sure shows like that have releases people sign before participating, and there certainly is a serious and competent in house legal department at CBS that will defend any suit vigorously.

JK might try and send angry emails, or make threats. But CBS is going to completely ignore noise from a person like him.

Weird, maybe your 18 year old daughter has different tastes in movies than I do. ???

I have not seen the movie Mean Girls.

Weird thing to try to beat me up about, but you do you.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I was totally relieved to see how large the pile of fecal matter was and how well-formed the fecal balls were.

So you chide others for making what you deem to be “tasteless” or “offensive” comments, yet you can’t restrain yourself from making comments such as the above?

And how do you know MB’s “then girlfriend/fiancée abruptly dumped him?” Are you that close to her that you know all the circumstances surrounding their relationship?

Do you think it is possible they just agreed that it would be best for her to “to get on with her life” since he had been denied bail and knew he was going to be in jail for a long, long time before his trial? Best for her to focus on her children and her own riding career and aspirations rather than expend tons of time and emotional energy trying to keep the relationship going? After all, LK had already destroyed MB’s life and career, why should they allow her to also destroy MHG’s life and career? (And judging by all the digs by certain posters against MHG, it apparently galled LK that MHG was in fact “getting on with her life” - and in particular, her riding career.)

It only let me like this post once… and that was not enough. Great post.

All of this.

Also… I think now is a good time to note that allegedly there is a court order in place prohibiting LK from speaking about MHG online.

Right. LO is a grown woman who runs a successful business, has proven to be a success as a mother by raising a really good and decent kid, and she is a successful amateur rider. She is well spoken and well written and seems to be smart and emotionally mature and secure in her own self. She doesn’t strike me as the type of woman who would let herself be “taken advantage of” by a man locked up in jail or a psychiatric institution.

SM’s post was a below the belt attempt to discredit LO, disparage her, smear her, hurt her. One has to wonder who put her (SM) up to it.

And why?
Why suddenly, out of no where, post something slamming LO?

It makes me think that they had a reason.

And, this is another post that I wish I could like multiple times.
