Narcissistic collapse happens when someone with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) can no longer uphold their grandiose, confident image. When this occurs, they feel profoundly threatened. As a result, they tend to become enraged, resulting in impulsive behavior, intense lashing out, or hurting other people. While this reaction isn’t usually intentional, it’s a way to re-establish a sense of control.

What about when it all IS intentional? The lashing out, the hurting other people? And what about when it is carefully intentional? Planned, even?

It’s a very weird, deep, and unpleasant dive but, he is a seriously, pathologically, dishonest NY congressman. who reminds me of LK, in that their dishonesty seems to come naturally to them.

Unfortunately (for them), their dishonesty is obvious to most intelligent people, and the sleazy attempts to fool people is equally pathetic in both instances.

This post makes it feel like you have not read the GoFundMe or the posts, that is why I ask.

How is Michael supposed to be participating in something that is not offered?
The lack of treatment at the facility he is at was covered in the GoFundMe and discussed extensively in this thread.
Michael is confined there so it is not like he can go find his own treatment.

I hope MB is participating in proffered group therapies now.

There is no group therapy provided, reminder? Group therapy is led by qualified therapists. Greystone offers group “sessions” in colouring and other activities. That’s not therapy.

Question, if it may please the court. I am pretty sure I remember seeing a copy of a FB post by LK where she alluded to having been diagnosed as a narcissist.

Does anyone else remember seeing it?

Well… the good news for Lollypop is that per her own mother, she saw some sort of mental health professional and got an evaluation pre-shooting. Apparently issues were identified, but that’s not uncommon. Everyone has issues.

As best as I can understand, for the purposes of a lawsuit involving claims of emotional distress related to an incident, Lollypop will have to have a full mental health & emotional health evaluation by a qualified professional post-shooting as well. Then the two evaluations from the two mental health professionals will be compared to try and identify which issues were a RESULT of the shooting, vs. pre-existing, and what is the extent of the emotional distress.

We already had a preview of how this works with MBs criminal case. He had fairly common depression and anxiety issues for years, and they were thoroughly documented because he had seen a therapist for a long time for help managing these very human and very common challenges. Then LK began her campaign of psychological harassment… and MB began to exhibit unusual behavior that indicated an acute stress, and significant psychological breakdown. He was thoroughly evaluated by multiple mental health professionals following the shooting, and diagnosed with an acute delusional disorder. The disorder was brought on by profound psychological stressors linked to LK’s harassment.

Yes. I think there is mention in legal filings as well. If memory serves me.
