Was that incident before or after the shooting? I seem to recall her posting it well after she’d moved to FL, but I could be mistaken. Add that regardless when she posted it does not indicate when it was recorded by any means.
Write my manifesto? Make more snarky, vicious posts on FB, etc.? And if the latter, who should I target? MB? MHG? RC? Oh, I forgot - my old pals HB and GJ.
There aren’t enough hours in the day. I may have to forgo a nap.
Show up on time prepared to ride & practice riding weren’t on Lauren’s mind. Ditto for studying the rulebook. All of which were her responsibility if not her paying job.
You (g) have said you don’t find SM’s opinions credible, despite her being a lawyer. It is clear your trusted legal professionals are @Ekat, @lazaret, and @Knights_Mom.
I’m asking if your legal professionals agree among themselves on whether the venue can be moved to Florida.
It strikes me as a ludicrous idea, given the cause of action occurred in NJ and none of the lawyers are barred in Florida, but I know you don’t value my opinion since IANAL.
Interesting how LK’s mother cited that LK had “mental health issues” while her own father called her “a pain in the ass” yet another @Inigo-montoya post that aged like milk.
No. A change of venue can be requested by a motion but it must be granted by the court, and you can’t transfer to just anywhere, the court in question must have jurisdiction. I guess you could make the case since Michael owned property in Florida and the plaintiff now resides in Florida that the venue in Florida is proper, but since the tenancy agreement and alleged injury both existed in NJ, and at the time of the alleged incident all parties were residents of the same address in NJ, and SGF is a NJ (or was it Delaware? either way, not FL) corporation, it would be a tough sell to say that FL is proper venue for the SGF claims at the bare minimum.
ETA, because my coffee is still hot: since the plaintiff brought the suit in the venue it’s currently in, and it’s the plaintiff who would be claiming inconvenience, I don’t think this would fly. The affected party is the one who can move to change the venue, but filing in a court then saying it is too far for you yourself to travel does not generally go over well.
