In fact, one of the things the jury will be asked to determine is specifically, by percentage, how much at fault all parties are for the injury sustained. In order to obtain recovery, the injured party must be less than 50% at fault. Now, normally, that wouldn’t be a very high standard to meet.

I just do not see any jury rewarding LK for such behavior.

Well, with still no forensic evidence magically appearing and those pesky disappearing videos still missing, it’s gonna be really, really, really hard to prove who shot whom and how. That said, when you add all the facts that are known, including the dog and specific area of dog bites, the tremendous, outrageous beating RG inflicted on MB, the fact that self defense will be mentioned, and the cherry on the top of it all - in spite of all the fearful posts, guns hot, manifestoes, offers to move her and her horses by gullible friends, she not only stayed, she doubled down!!! I rest my case.

That’s an interesting point. Can they stay in her house but not vice versa?

It’s a 3-bedroom - 1 master and 2 connected children’s rooms - home, so there is enough room for her parents to stay there, but I doubt they do, not the least of the reasons being because the home is not meant to have more than two adults staying there and was intended for 1-2 adults and 2-3 children, with the previous owners having used a room off the front entrance as an unofficial bedroom that could accommodate another child.

Yes, seeing a repeat performance from her won’t be pretty, but I’d almost pay to see mom & dad testify along with potentially other surprise witnesses (my thoughts - I am not at all privy to who might be potential witnesses). But I can see the trial(s) lasting longer than the criminal trial since there won’t be so much kept out.

She said that he would gut one of the rooms and build her a “dance studio” in the home and perform other cosmetic modifications and improvements. There is no room for a “dance studio”, as the home is fairly open on the inside, with the interconnected rooms built off a central area, where the living room, porch, and kitchen/dining area are situated between the 3 bedrooms.

It would certainly be interesting to see it, if only to know what actually happened, rather than the heavily skewed version that the K clan will try to put out there.
