Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

Right? I remember the first one in Seattle, too. Someone brought a couple dozen back to the office, so I got to try one. I couldn’t help but think, what’s the big deal? For the record, I am not a donut aficionado. The only donuts I ever eat are plain cake. Prefer fried to baked, but both are fine by me.

Dunkin’ Donuts isn’t around here much anymore. I recall one down in Renton somewhere, but I doubt if it is still there. Starbucks is ubiquitous, obviously. They don’t cotton to DD.

But yet you are back once again @CurrentlyHorseless!

For someone who claims to not like the posts here, whether on topic or not, you just can’t seem to stay away!

Ever just ask yourself, “Why is it I can’t stay away?”

@smoofox - The best donuts in the PNW are in Redmond. Sunrise Donuts just off 520 westbound. Worth the trip!

Uh-huh. Why did you come back? What’s your circular argument or profound announcement today?

We were having such a nice conversation about doughnuts. What was the purpose of you dropping in to say that?

I suspect specific posters have no clue what circular arguing actually means or comprehends why they do it.

As far as doughnuts, I love them all except those with sprinkles!

All pies are amazing except mincemeat.

All cookies are perfect.

Ice cream must be made with pure ingredients without emulsifiers or preservatives and preferably home, or small batch made.

Is Boston Cream Pie actually pie or cake?

My grandfather made mincemeat cookies for Christmas.

Too bad our local Sugarbox donuts aren’t available to everyone. They are gluten-free, made with potato flour (former name was “spudnuts”) and the BEST I have ever tasted, including DD and KK.

They are gifted decorators, too. I had them make a barn theme last year.

Blasphemy! What do you mean you don’t like sprinkles?

Exactly! How can anyone not like sprinkles?!? Whenever I dream of doughnuts (and yes, I do have dreams of them), they are always bejeweled with sprinkles.

IDK! Even as a kid I disliked sprinkles. Any and all kinds of sprinkles! Weird, I know. There must be a special name for sprinkle avoiders.

Connoisseurs. Purists. (I don’t like sprinkles either).

Yes, that’s it! Thank you!

Come to think of it, did Julia Child use sprinkles? Did she make French doughnuts?

I saw this in the random Pinterest food feed.

How does cat feces supposedly overflow from a litter box into kid’s beds, and why brag about having a pic of that, but then claim you have no idea of CPS being called?

A pirouette or two.

Hmmm as far as donuts, we have a local shop that makes a cannoli donut…
