Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

We had an echo, until we upgraded our wifi, now it doesn’t work. Which I’m glad about, because it was a little creepy having it. My husband likes it. My son did at first, but the glamor wore off and recently he just ignored it or yelled at it when it would randomly natter on about stupid stuff; sounded just like my brother in law…

I’m not sure, it looks so icky to me that I just saw it and thought how awful it looked.

My son gave us an Alexa for Christmas a few years ago. The minute I read that it wanted access to my computer it went into a draw, and there it sits. But, as I get older and have a bit of covid brain going on, I may need one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvT_gqs5ETk

A dessert bowl of green jelly (jello?) with a chocolate frog set into it and several “mint leaf” jube (gummy?) lollies pressed into it. Always tasted awful, always ate one.

Rather than going out to dinner, this has become our Valentine’s Day Custom:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3mKvisLIvA. Juanito Pasqual and the New Flamenco Trio play at a local venue every year on or near Valentine’s Day. They are all exceptional musicians. What a show!

That sounds fun!

It is great fun. They also used to play at a hotel that had a music venue. I know Juanito so we would go out to the hotel bar after the show and not get home until 3 in the morning. It would take us 2 days to recover, but it was totally worth it.

Where are all these chocolate frogs coming from? I’ve never seen boxes of chocolate frog candies. Or are they made out of a candy mold just for this delicacy? :frog:

More importantly, are they frogs dipped in chocolate, (crunchy frogs) or frogs made of chocolate (smooth frogs)?

I had a friend whose CB handle was “Crunchy Frog”.

Depending on whether you want to go lower end (Freddo) or high end (Haighs), there’s no shortage of chocolate frogs in Australia …
