And I would be pissed as hell. It shocks me to this day that the Kanareks are not upset that the police failed to gather the customary evidence typically gather in order to convict MB on all charges. I would be livid.

Exactly! And this is simply another thought that I throw on my Kanareks are GAF in this situation pile that continues to grow into a mountain.

My tiny stack against Barisone is nothing that could even warrant an arrest in the first place, based on zero evidence that he did anything illegal on his own property. Quite the contrary, he did everything available to him during the weeks before the incident to protect his family, property, clients, animals and himself, all ignored by those sworn to serve and protect. This man helplessly watched as his life was systematically destroyed by a group of three with civil authorities acting as unaware accomplices.

Lauren Shay Kanarek conspired with others to harass, terrorize, and destroy a successful man simply because she wanted to. All of the evidence pointing to her plan and the potential involvement of others as yet unnamed will be shown during the civil trials.

I am not an insider and this post represents my personal thoughts.

Remember, New Jersey has a “repair and deduct” method for renters to make repairs that affect habitability, a landlord responsibility. If either the landlord or the tenant hire a contractor, the contractor has to be registered but the owner and tenant do not. The owner and tenant can perform certain kinds of maintenance so long as they don’t require a licensed professional such as an electrician or plumber. Repairs for Sheetrock, tile, bathroom and kitchen appliance and fixture replacement do not require a license or a registration so long as it is done by the owner or tenant, walls are not moved, wiring and plumbing is not changed, etc.

So by “fixture” you mean one can swap out a sink or toilet as long as it is reconnected to the old plumbing. Or replace a ceiling fan with a chandelier as long as you use the existing wiring. Or re-wire a smoke detector……wait.

The NC legislation has introduced a bill that will allow expedited eviction of “squatters”, specifically in hotels. Apparently it has become commonplace in America for people to check in to economy hotels and refuse to leave for various reasons. Of course our liberal segment is in an uproar about “but where will these people go” while the conservatives argue “the business owner deserves payment for his property”. why not work together to find resources to solve the problem rather than create more problems?

This is some of the testimony that made it clear to me MB shot LK. Also, the jury finding he shot her, that it was undisputed, RC’s response as she described finding her gun was the weapon, the 911 call, and the demeanor of the character witnesses. I don’t think anyone testifying or participating in the court procedures doubted he shot her.

Do you, Hut, remember when you posted the video of the thoracic surgeon to insist the extent of Lauren Kanarek’s injuries were what you said they were and you demanded we watch it, so I gave in and watched it and came back with a very different list of things that doctor said than what you said he said.
Then you posted Mr. Tarshis’ testimony video insisting he said something very inflammatory and told us all to watch it, so I watched it and Mr. Tarshis did not say anything even close to what you were insisting he said.

You are doing it again.

NONE of these testimony videos make it clear who shot LK. Period.

I also found it interesting that a landlord cannot enter a tenant’s area without permission in a residential lease. RC should not have entered their apartment.

At what point did RC have any ownership or landlord portion of SGF?

Trying to justify LKs actions certainly is a full time job. I hope it pays well! (Metaphorically)

The mind boggles considering all the time and mental gymnastics and law bending that has gone on trying to undemonize LKs words, actions and intent.

No matter how hard someone tries there is sometimes just no way to (as per the very famous expression) put lipstick on a pig that will be successful.

OMG I almost got kicked out of a thrifting FB group for asking about using “Sale” as a verb. People suddenly thought I was looking down on people for poor grammar and I was somehow professing my superiority. I was genuine in asking whether it was a local term, an autocorrect phone issue, a mostly unused in the recent past term (as in using “gift” as a verb) or were people using it as a new trend word like “jelly” or “prolly” to make them stand out in their sales.

Never did get an acceptable answer. Maybe I will head over to the COTH thread. LOL

RC had no authority to enter a tenant’s unit on a residential unit (less than 3 units) even if sent by the landlord.

That is where I thought it might be. That was a very confusing area to me! I was so turned around and seemed to be driving in circles. I could see the store I wanted to go to but I couldn’t get to it! To make matters worse I was driving an unfamiliar truck! I finally just went on around to Nicholasville by the mall. Nice straight roads to that Target or Mejier or whatever store I was trying to get to. ( I have slept since then!) That town has grown so much in the (OMG has it been almost 30 years) since I lived there.
