I have a new Mighty Mule Gate Closer. I click my remote, it opens perfectly. I click the remote again, and it tries to open again. It never tries to close. Anyone know why?
most all gate operators are designed with open override circuits that is an open command will override a close command , my GUESS is one of two things 1)the limits were never learned or 2) the control board lost the learned imputes
Try reprograming the control board
MAKE sure battery is fully charged, GTO usually use a small 7 AmpH battery that was originally designed for alarm panels

Have you tried Mighty Mule customer service?
I have been very impressed, particularly the time the rep diagnosed the problem by just asking me to hold my phone close to the unit and listened to it run, then told me what to do to fix the problem.
