Mini Bike Recommendation

Any recommendations on a mini bike to use getting around at events? 115 lb adult. Not interested in street use of off roading. Thanks!

Consider an electric scooter.
Friends have these - with seats - and use them to get around our fairgrounds (lots of up & downhill) & at Hoosier horse Fair & The National Drive.
The 3-wheel models can be pricy - $1K+ - or cheaper 2-wheel models are available that either are stand-on or have seats. Sometimes you can find a reconditioned 3-wheel model for hundreds.
Just Google “Electric Scooter”

There are also electric bikes that can be pedaled or rely on a small motor.
They run in the hundreds, but can also get costlier.

I prefer a good mountain bike. Keeps me in shape, almost as fast as any motorcycle (on one venue out here, XC is 3/4 of a mile away from the barn and I beat most cars and minibikes back and forth) and is allowed on almost every XC course so I can get out there as well. Additionally, a bike lets me park way closer to where I am going (e.g. most places won’t let you ride a dirt bike right up to the schooling areas).

Otherwise I see 70cc kids dirt bikes and a couple of classic minibikes with pull start lawn mower engines.

I have a Honda 50cc. It’s really for little kids, but I like it because i can get it into my tack room without help from another person and it doesn’t take up too much space. If you’re taller than 5’6" or have particularly long legs, you should upgrade to a 70 so that your knees don’t knock into the handle bars, lol

I have one of the Chinese 49cc scooters, under $1000, it’s a piece of crap, but it’s a cute piece of crap and for what I use it for (getting around the CDE track) it works fine.

I put it in the spare stall in the trailer, it works out well since I have an adjustable divider and two sets of butt/chest bars. When I go on long trips the pony has a 5.5 wide stall and the scooter is snug between the divider and wheel well on the other side.

I’m sure it would fit in a tack room, the last one I had in the 90s was larger and for in my trail et tack room, and I can’t believe tack room are smaller these days (my trailer doesn’t have one, the+1 space in front is my tack room and it for sure fits in an 8x8 room).

The only challenge with it is I do have some sandy paths to negotiate and that can be fun with thin tires!
