My mom is trying to get started doing pet therapy with mini horses. She would be bringing one to hospitals and or nursing’s homes. I know this has been done and there is a pet therapy certification that needs to be obtained but we just do not know what way to go about that. Also what ways would someone go about getting appointments or talking to others that would be interested in having something like this come into their facility. We live in chicagoland area if that helps at all also.
Anyone know anything about this topic or have any suggestions, good idea? bad idea? anyone?
