And now he has a ridiculous wardrobe including a Horseware fly sheet, turnout sheet, and medium. And yes he needs to take the 43 he measures and subtract from that for his Horseware size because he needs the 39 in everything Horseware…
Well isn’t he a cutie all spiffed up in his summer wardrobe
Boop!
Those are some beautiful Glamour shots!
I have this, taken at last year’s Ntl Drive, halfway through the 6mi RT drive to the POW Chapel - my excuse for the unglamorous Trolldoll mini & dirty harness
Adorable. I can’t get enough of minis
Me too!
And tougher than people give them credit.
When they’ve got decent conformation - like your Hobbit & my Bugs (shows as Wascally Wabbit ) - they’re capable of a lot more than being decorative.
Only thing I don’t like seeing is kids riding them.
Fine when they’re leadline-aged, but I cringe at some vids I’ve seen with honking bigger kids riding the crap out of some dwarfy mini in a badly-fitted Western saddle
Bugs?! That’s a great name!!!
When he was a long yearling his ears had white linings. I thought it might just be baby fuzz, but his dam had the same, so I figured it would last.
& It did
So he’s Bugs Bunny
aka Wascally Wabbit*
*Are you old enough to remember Looney Tunes & Elmer Fudd?
Yes and it perfectly suits him!
Whew!
At a show two little girls - around 6-7ish - came over to love on him.
He’s a stuffed toy for kids
The Amish guy who broke him had 5 sons - stairsteps from 14 (who was responsible for Bugs’ training under Dad’s eye) down to 2 - so Bugs had tons of exposure.
The girls asked why I called him Bugs & I said for Bugs Bunny… {crickets}
You have to be “of an age” to get the reference
