The system won’t let me reply to the original post. The missing horse reported in the post below this one was found Sunday afternoon, after 8 days in the wilderness. According to a report from the owner, a rabbit hunter found him and was able to catch him with the help of a buddy after about 30 minutes. Saddle was still on, but had rolled under his belly. Only injury seemed to be a sore on his back/withers rubbed by the girth.
