Mix of limestone screening/sand/rubber in indoor arena

My ring contractor uses this mix 2 in blue dust 1 inch concrete sand plus mag. Would the blue dust make it dusty for an indoor arena?

I asked him to bid one inch of each plus 3/4 rubber. He really wants the 2:1 ratio. I do think he does a good job and a number of big name trainers use him.

Pluses: the stone dust gives it grip so no need to add felt for stability. I ride on the same footing outside and I really like it. No rubber doesn’t need a lot of raking to keep it soft. Drains well Looks like stone dust. I think there is a preference of sand from a perception too

I would think concrete sand would be grippy, it’s generally a course sand… Are there any arenas that he’s done within driving distance you could go visit?

Sure I can see a newish arena but I was wondering about the long term.

If you have enough Mag chloride in the mix, it should not get dusty.
