Sorry password forgotten. Have a new iPad and am trying to Log in, get new Password. Being told my correct e-mail address is incorrect. What to do?

Are you logged in on a computer?
If you are, you can check what email address is linked to your account and change it, if necessary, by clicking on your name at the very top left of the screen.

Years ago I had one such problem.
Best I remember, Moderator tweaked something or other and corrected the problem, or had someone do it.
Was so long ago and on a different platform, before the changes, so can’t tell why that is happening now.
At that time it was a common problem, but have not heard anyone having similar problems since, sorry.
Maybe let Moderator know you still have problems.

Guess not yet.
Corrected e-mail set to my account and saved the change. I thought that was the solution, but alas it’s not. The window still advises e-mail address is incorrect.
