Moment of the year

You get to vote. My pick is CC’S World Cup win while saddle slipping back.

I voted that one too.

PB: Great minds think a like.

I don’t know, that was very impressive but so stupid too if you ask me since that isn’t the first time his saddle has slipped big time. I loved the Distaff.

Tepin at Royal Ascot for me. She didn’t look comfortable (confused may be a better word) for a fair bit of the race, took on some really nice horses in unfamiliar settings (especially the track layout) and became the first American based horse to win the Queen Anne.

It has really been a great year of racing though from start to finish with all the performances we’ve had.

Agree with Laurierace on the Distaff. Although Arrogate’s jaw-dropping Travers, and Songbird’s year so memorable, the BC Distaff jumps out as an unforgettable race to me.

BEHOLDER

Have to vote Travers because it was so unexpected and broke the record for a race that’s hosted (almost) all the greats.

Also the Beholder and Songbird in the Distaff for me.

So many good memories…

Distaff where Beholder pulled it off over Songbird
Classic where Arrogate snuck it in over Chrome
Lady Eli in the Flower Bowl (I had tears in my eyes when she won)
Tepin in the Queen Anne Stake

For me, the World Cup, despite the saddle slipping wasn’t “memorable” in the way that the ones above were… have to noodle on this one a bit.
