MONEIGH BY CURLIN ADDED TO RERUN’S NOV. EBAY AUCTION
A Moneigh® painted by 2008/2009 Horse of the Year, Curlin, will be included in ReRun’s upcoming eBay auction, which will run from November 28-December 5. Also featured are Moneighs by AP Indy, Awesome Again, Big Brown, Congaree, Dynaformer, Einstein, Giacomo, Point Given, and Smarty Jones, as well as 11 others.
Anyone can view the paintings after Nov. 28 at http://art.search.ebay.com/moneigh. However, you must have an eBay account to bid.
A Moneigh is an original, abstract painting created by a horse, using the horse’s muzzle, whiskers, hoof, and tail. Some artists, such as Funny Cide and Cigar, will paint by holding a paintbrush in their mouths. Most include a hoof print, lock of mane or tail, and brass name plate. The paintings come matted, but are no longer framed. ReRun’s semi-annual eBay auction of Moneighs raises funds to support the retired Thoroughbreds awaiting adoption in its program
