monograms on aprons

Can someone tell me how big the monograms are on your aprons? I have a embroidery machine and I’d like to add a monogram to my aprons.
Thanks, Kathy

What I have most frequently seen is about the size of you hand and ususlaly for the drivers apron on the right hand side - lower half so it can be seen while you are seated and driving

What monogram??

We don’t do bling over here

Thomas, you want to see bling, you need to see a miniature horse show, some of the dresses they wear in the driving classes could blind you  ! Kathy

More concerning though is WTF did they do to the shetland pony!!!

Thomas–This one’s just for you:

Not a monogram, but talk about a bling-ey hair cut!

P.S. No, this is not my pony! Picture complements of Fugly Horse of the Day Web site. However, Merlin better run and hide before next winter’s clipping.

clipper happy?

Kelly,

you have W AA A A AA Y too much time on your hands !!!

I think you should do merlin with hearts!

Thomas, surely you are pulling our leg on a monogram.

And poor poor pony–stars!!!

I’m impressed by the clip job. Honestly, that person needs to turn pro. Talent, pure talent.

No, I cannot take credit for that magnificant clip! I have a hard enough time doing clips with lines, much less stars. I love just a full body clip–can’t screw that up too bad unless you accidentally clip mane or forelock off.

Gives new meaning, though, to the name “Supah Star” pony.

Thomas, surely you are pulling our leg on a monogram. [/QUOTE] Not at all… They’re considered naff.

Crests are used in the coaching fraternity BUT… only if you actually have and are entitled to a crest… Not one “bought” off the internet which would be VERY naff. Sometimes you do see owner initials entwined and painted on the side of a carriage or embroidered in a small neat design on the apron or on a rug and some go so far as to but them on blinkers or face drop or even on the false martingale but truly its not really the done thing in the upper echelons and it is generally looked on as flashy crap.

And poor poor pony–stars!!!
That’s the sort of thing my daughters would have done when they were little girls! I well remember the time one of them tried to perm a horses mane so it would lie on the correct side. He ended up with curls!!!:no:

Did I tell you about the little girl I teach to ride who brought a christmas present for my horses… purple hoof glitter!!!

HAHAHAHAA. My daughter wanted to buy PINK hoof glitter for my old man. I gave in and allowed it. Poor guy felt emasculated when I painted it on  I was laughing the whole time since he put me through HECK as a youngster!!! :D:D:D
